Wild fight. Should have been stopped in the second. Great performance by Magny, give him a top 5 guy again.

Could have been stopped in the first too, tbh.
It could have but Magny was moving around still trying to avoid the barrage, but Magny had him flattened out for at least a minute in the second over 40 unanswered strikes with no defence. Glad he got the win in the end.

Someone needs to do before and after pics post USADA for a bunch a fighters that include Belfort, Mir, Overeem etc.

The changes in physique are ridiculous

Do knockouts vary in degrees of comprehensiveness ?

Aldo definitely deserves another chance given his own dominance for nearly a decade. I respect Conor, but the knockout was a fluke imo, and Aldo wins that fight 9 out of 10 times.

That's a stupid comment really.

Great card

I was surprised frank didn't protest the finish. I don't think he was out and surely would like hunt on the mat trying to finish

Just caught up with the last few fights. Fantastic performance by Magny. He's putting together a decent resume with wins over Gastelum and now Lombard in succession. Jonny Hendricks next for him maybe?

Also I fully expected ther walk off KO in the main event. Love seeing Hunto win.

Big money fight (this one is arguably the biggest draw out of any of the fights available), the first fight was pretty damn good and the second should be even better, plus I expect McGregor wants to get revenge and get that win back. He's got a point to prove against Diaz, imagine he feels he could have beaten him but made mistakes that he feels he can fix in a second fight.
I don't care if the first fight was good, TJ vs Cruz was amazing, why didn't that get a rematch?

I also imagine many fighters believe they can beat people's who best them, didn't mean everyone should get rematch.

Your other points are correct, UFC are doing a runback because of the money they want and because McGregor wants revenge... Can't hurt the feelings of the king right? It's bullshit

UFC needs some fresh blood at Heavyweight. Haven't had any decent fighters come through in ages.

heavyweight seems like a hard division I guess if you are young enough you'd just cut the weight to 205, just to not have to deal with tubby freaks and their one punch power.

I think the 265 limit is a bit high. If they cut it to 240 (as if 206 to 240), I think the likes of Rothwell, Hunt, Nelson, Mir, and the rest of them would be much better fighters, at least in terms of stamina and cardio. There's really no excuse for Roy Nelson to walk around as he is in the above pic.

Rothwell is pretty spry despite the weight, the rest of them just eat like shit and don't care, cause it's never making it out of the first round anyway so who needs to give a shit about cardio.

Couldn't a guy with better stamina and a leaner body just dance around them until they tire out?

Less so in the HW division since the punches are stronger, where one punch can end things more so than in the lighter divisions.

Punches are slower too. Just go in, hit and get out. The guys are too slow and fat to chase you around too much.

Yes and no, 5 minute round x 3 avoiding that one haymaker that ends your night is boring as hell to watch. Everyone hates decisions and there is no decision victory more boring than a heavyweight fight, if you always win via decision your moving up the rankings is gonna be slow.

When they tire towards the end throw a few haymakers of your own. How its acceptable that fat bastards like Roy Nelson can compete competitively is beyond me. He is in worse shape then my 60 year old dad.

So I'm thinking our UFC 200 card will looks something like this...
Mousasi vs. Brunson
Cain vs. Browne
Aldo vs. Edgar
Lawler vs. Condit
McGregor vs. Diaz
According to Ariel McGregor Diaz will be announced sometime this week apparently.

That's underwhelming.
Mousasi vs. Brunson will probably be prelim and maybe even Cain too. Ariel reported there'll be a relevant fighter people want to watch fighting in every fight, people will be happy with the card and I think it'll make up for the main event being a non title fight.

If that is the case is pretty shit. The two main events are rematches even though the originals were good, it doesn't get the blood flowing as much by being rematches so soon

Read my post above, I think a couple of the fights I listed will be prelim. UFC intend for every fight to have well known and relevant fighters involved.

At 200, I'd like to see (in no particular order:
Jones v Rumble
McGregor v Aldo
Lawlor v Thompson
Bigfoot Silva v Mighty Mouse & John Dodson
Hunt v Overeem
Belfort v Rockhold
GSP v Silva.
