In other news, Aldo v McGregor looks like it's under trouble again. Quotes from Aldo's trainer saying he's in severe pain and the fight won't be decided upon until a day or two before the event.
He should just pull out. This 'touch and go' thing that has been going on for the past few days is just getting ridiculous. Better for all involved if he pulls out and McGregor can focus fully on Mendes. Then do the interim title thing if they really want to and have Aldo face Mcgregor in Dublin later in the year if Mcgregor wins (as a reward for keeping the card alive and taking an extra fight before the title shot).
Machida vs Romero fight prelims starting now... last event until McGregor vs Aldo.

Machida shouldn't have fought so soon again.
So what's happening with Aldo/McGregor ? Heard Mendes will replace Aldo if he's not fit to fight. Would be a bit strange if Mendes winds up beating McGregor and he never gets to face Aldo, since Mendes would then almost sure have to face Aldo yet again.

I feel in someways McGregor has taken the Anderson Silva route in focusing greatly on striking techniques, making sure that everything he throws is very sound so that when it lands the damage is at its most maximum. Taekwondo is a very interesting and unpredictable art as well, very exciting to watch it done right.
