She was shooting in for a takedown though, at the end there you could see her ask the ref what she was doing stopping it.

I really don't understand how they scored that fight for Gastelum. He took the first round fairly convincingly, but he clearly lost the second and third. The only thing he did that Hall didn't in the third round was a single take-down, which ended up getting reversed in the end anyway. And while on top he probably took more damage from Hall than the other way around.
Hall wasn't spectacular, but I'm really starting to get tired of the wrestling-biased judging in MMA. Top position means feck all unless you do something from it.

Haven't seen the fights from last night yet but not surprised at all to hear that Hall lost.
From watching parts of this last season of TUF he strikes me as someone that really lacks the mental strength to get over that final hurdle. All the other tools are there.

Not a chance that Hall clearly won the third, that was Kelvin's and a deserved victory on the scorecards.
Tate/Zingano fight was awesome, no surprise what so ever there. Tate showing again what a brilliant chin she has. No doubt she could of kept going there, but it's still probably the right stoppage there, cant have any real complaints. Tate/Ronda would of made a brilliant season on TUF considering the history (as well as all of the shit with that utter cnut Caraway), but Zingano winning is good for the division and IMO she provides the better match up against Ronda, also expect she'll be a really good coach. Meanwhile, Tate get's another opponent sometime later in the year and with a win can get back into title contention, win/win for most here.
The UFC's boner for Bubba really is ridiculous though. Favored on TUF and now making the main card because he's Jones boy, not deserved what so ever and he's come across the entire time as a right tit.

Hall landed a lot more strikes than Gastelum in the third round, and the only thing Gastelum had over him was that one takedown. Which lead to him being reversed.
She was ok but the 2 they normally have cannot be beaten for me.
