What the feck...just read that they're adding Maia vs Fitch to UFC 156 too. Trying not to get my hopes up too much as injuries have ruined so many events lately, but that has to be one of the strongest cards ever.

Nick will be back, for sure. He was saying how much he wanted to fight Anderson Silva not that long ago :lol:

Yea injuries have been mental this year. Maynard vs Lauzon has been called off as well since Maynard got injured, Dan Miller's in now.
 
I think its Jim Miller replacing Maynard and not Dan. Good replacement actually. Matt Mittrione's been brought in to replace Carwin against Nelson, which is fairly shite. Such a shame that Cormier and Barnett are stranded in Strikeforce at the moment. Either of those two vs Nelson would have been great.
 
Got a sneaky feeling for Condit tonight. 18 months is a long time to be out.

Saying that, Condit hasn't fought in a year either has he.

I think GSP will finish Condit tonight.

well I hope he does.

The other fight is too close to call. I am going to guess Hendricks by split decision.
 
I'm not fussed tbh. I quite like them both.

I think the fights are set up after either way. Like you said if GSP wins then the UFC will push him to fight Silva and if he loses I can see him fighting Diaz with Condit fighting the winner of Kampman/Hendricks.
 
Alarm set for 5 AM, am definitely not missing a minute of this.
 
I think if GSP is anywhere near his best he'll win comfortably

Just rewound it, quality stuff. I love knockouts like that where you actually have a reaction to it. I wonder how Kampmann (and other fighters) feels after working for weeks to get knocked out first round, must be demoralising.

Really interested to see how GSP is after his lay off
 
Condit is bricking it now. He had about 10 seconds this round where he actually connected a few times with GSP but then that counter punch knocked him back again. This is GSP's to lose
 
He's got a couple now as well. I don't think it will, not at least while Condit is still able to fight but this fight is going to get even messier.

Been a bit of 'meh' event today till the knockout and this fight. This is a great fight
