I had that fight.

Round 1 Aldo
Round 2 Hominick
Round 3 Even or maybe Aldo
Round 4 Aldo
Round 5 Hominick

Rounds 4 and 5 both could have been 10-8's.

Poor Randy, i'm only new to UFC but I can see why the hype was there. Must have been an incredible fighter in his prime!

Handy is mostly a product of UFC PR machine.

He is barely a .500 fighter. His legacy was pretty much cemented when he beat Tim Sylvia, whom nobody in the UFC will ever tell you, had a herniated disc during the fight.

GSP's striking was awful. It was less than awful, it was total shit. I dunno how much his eye figured into that, but his left left over hand right from China was so bad it was laughable.

Fairly shite main event. GSP extremely reticent in his post-fight interview about moving up to middleweight to fight Silva. He's starting to bore me tbh.

The rest of the card was very entertaining though. Aldo-Hominick was great.

He shouldn't. It is a totally stupid idea.

GSP is an average sized 170'r. Silva is a GIANT 185'5 who walks around at 217ish pounds.

Dana White touting a possible Nick Diaz v GSP.

I think that would be a great next fight for him

GSP has been very boring on average in his past few fights. He could do with actually trying to beat someone within 5 rounds now and again, instead of simply neutralising somebody and edging out a 5 round decision.

Nick will get smashed. All his loses have come versus wrestlers and GSP is the best in the business.

That's the problem. He's so well-rounded and physically dominant he can neutralise just about any contender at welterweight and bore the feck out of us doing it. Moving to middleweight makes no sense for him as its too much risk too little reward for an intrinsically cautious fighter, but it'd bank the UFC a superfight or two and be a hell of alot more exciting for the fans in the short term than him staying at welter.

Strange comments from Rampage. 3 days before the fight he claimed he had no injuries. However, after his win he claimed he fractured his hand but went along with the fight. When did he manage to injure his hand, or was he making excuses?

Am I the only one that wouldn't have liked to be in the room with him when he found out :nervous:

It would have been fine. He would have gorilla smashed for about 18 seconds before he gassed and cartwheeled out of the room on his face.

Diaz vs GSP is a great fight. I fear it'll be another 50-45 whitewash, GSP's top game is unrivaled in my opinion. Diaz's guard is good but it really hasn't been tested by guys anyhwere near GSP's level. But atleast Diaz gives GSP a new challenge. Look at the last few

Sheilds - Blatantly obvious he couldnt dream of taking GSP down, and everyone knew it
Koscheck - Alot of people gave him a big chance, but i didn't. I felt GSP was better everywhere, and he proved it
Hardy - I love hardy, but he never stood a chance.
