Invictus lacks a youth player, doesn't he?
Just saw him when I began to sort the list. Would've bid a lot earlier.2 fecking minutes to the deadline
He has something like 250m left, he can buy a whole academy before the deadline.Invictus lacks a youth player, doesn't he?
second round mate, after the first game and before reinforcements so you can replace.Injured players is that happening in the first round of games or not.

Only T-bola for good.
He can sign Sam Johnstone and still have a keeper comparable to some already pickedThat's true, but the latter isn't much of an edge when it comes to youth players. Bottom of the barrel territory now.
@Chesterlestreet can you include Dasayev and Hansen in that updated list to me and Marty/RedTiger

It'll be the acid test - whether having Lev Yashin in one end and Sam Johnstone in the other has any impact on the voting.Yeah, those keepers...will be one of the things to look out for when the match stage comes around: How those choices will actually go down with the neutrals/voters.
BTW for keepers and penalties, shouldn't there be a PK specialist bonus or something?
I'm asking because Leno has a ridiculous penalty save record

It's been discussed before. I think the closest we've come is an idea about giving an edge to the best overall keepers on penalties (regardless of whether they're actually penalty specialists or not).
It makes no sense to give an edge to an otherwise run-of-the-mill keeper who is a PK specialist, if there's nothing extra to gain from fielding an actual top keeper (within the context of the particular draft).

erm I'm currently on 197m with 13m to spare?@Enigma_87 Do you know that by screwing me over on Simonsen you've exceeded your budget? Your bought players and current bids total 217m. Give us Pele and we'll call it even.
I think Dasayev is double counted.erm I'm currently on 197m with 13m to spare?

Yep, counted Dasayev twice in my haste to crucify you for your Simonsen bid . Oh well, I'll just have to up my bid.
Personally the best buy is Boniek at 25m. That and of course Chester's 10m Cubillas deal. Both wouldn't look out of place even in QF's of all time draft. Versatile as well.Conti was a lovely piece of business.
yeah. I want Simonsen, had picked him in previous drafts. He's nice option to have on the wing as well. But you have an upper hand in this. as you guys are with bigger budget. Was hoping I can sneak him at 15m or so in the end having in mind some other gems that went under the radar for even less.
Also @Downcast you've managed to get some absolute gems at bargain basement prices. It killed me seeing Conti and Kempes sailing through at 10m, but I don't think we'd have been able to use Conti, and we needed the Kempes money elsewhere.

I was quite surprised when I got him that cheap to be fair. Very happy though, and his versatility will come very handy in case of injuries.Personally the best buy is Boniek at 25m.
