Well, two are Scousers so it's not surprising they're not picked, and three are relatively obscure (for Ballon d'Or winners). Someone should have picked up the last one, even though the pool is extremely strong in his position.
 
Picking Sarosi for the injury-rounds is considered cheating, surely :nono:

Although I decided to abstain from pre-war players in this draft myself.

Maybe, I don't know - it will be pointless to build the team around him with the amount of better (or, at least, better known) alternatives, he doesn't provide much needed versatility and you have to spend 20 mil on him no less

Well, the Liverpool lads were never going to make the cut in this context – for various reasons, one could say, and not simply for being associated with said club. The Frenchman has never been that popular in draft circles (again for various reasons, I suppose). The 80s man is an interesting one: I'm sure someone has drafted him at some point but I can't say I remember it. The two 60s players have featured before, I do recall that, and the youngest of them in particular was very well received, unless I'm mistaken – so there doesn't seem to be any very good reasons for not picking him.

Yes...I wouldn't disagree with that.

A couple of personal favourites of mine, who may be more questionable, depending on taste and preference - but there should be at least a couple most would rank very highly who remain unpicked. One in particular should be a shoe-in given his impeccable reputation.
