I'm not getting what's changed?

Think you have to buy an office to see the new CEO stuff.

The prices of the office run from $1m - $4m - plus extras:

Maze Bank West: Starts at 1,000,000

Lombank West: Starts at 3,100,000

Arcadius Business Center: Starts at 2,250,000

Maze Bank Tower: Starts at 4,000,000

  • Certain decors (colors) can cost you up to an extra 1,000,000...yikes.

  • A gun locker in Maze Bank Tower will run you an extra 520,000 (not yet sure if different per tower) Can confirm that addon prices are the same across all buildings.

  • Safe is an extra 335,000 in Maze Bank Tower all buildings.

  • I'm unsure what the safe does exactly. Here's the flavor text: Forget the banks - you know what's actually too big to fail? A huge pile of hard cash in a secure safe on the 50th floor. Just close the door, dim the lights, and discover that $100 bills are surprisingly comfy and absorbent.

Not sure what the differences are between them - other than location.

There are then apparently warehouses you can buy, but assume you need to have an office first. No idea if it makes a difference which one you choose? R* really needed to have released their update notes to explain the new content IMO.

I did buy the Vapid FMJ

The Pegassi Reaper feels a bit too close to the Zentorno (and not as nice). The stats for the cars on the in-game websites have been updated - if they are correct then the FMJ is the best car in terms of speed and acceleration - feels good to drive. Not too many customization options really - spoiler and roof is about it.

Buying an office then...
You have to join a public session to do the CEO stuff - you can't do them in invite only (am guessing you can't do them in crew lobbies as well). So think you will need people with you to protect you and the shipments from everyone else.

Once you buy an office, you can purchase warehouses. Then you can upgrade some of the vehicles to withstand more damage etc.

Here you go:

GTA Online: Further Adventures in Finance and Felony Now Available

Continue your mission to become the ultimate criminal kingpin of Los Santos and Blaine County in GTA Online: Further Adventures in Finance and Felony, now available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. As CEO, you'll enjoy all the special abilities of being a VIP, plus access to a whole new frontier of black market opportunities with SecuroServ’s patented Special Cargo Network, allowing you to buy and sell illegal goods across a city-wide empire.

An executive office also includes private access to the SecuroServ Special Cargo Network, which you’ll use to invest in Warehouses and traffic rare and exotic product throughout the city. Warehouses store all Special Cargo and storage space is valuable; manage your inventory wisely and maximize your margins by selling when the prices are right.

actual_1465290630.jpg

Run dangerous, multi-part Buy Missions with your team of Associates to store and stockpile Special Cargo.

BUY AND SELL SPECIAL CARGO
Buy missions require skill from a coordinated team of Associates to successfully pull off. Missions are grouped into three categories that increase in difficulty based on how many crates of contraband you intend to purchase and how much risk you are willing to take on. With greater risks – whether from the FIB, LSPD or rival player Organizations – come greater rewards.

actual_1465290640.jpg

Manage your inventory carefully from Small, Medium and Large Warehouses. Overstocked warehouses with lucrative goods won’t stay secret for long...

Accumulating inventory will drive demand in the market. When the time comes to sell, you’ll have various offers to choose from based on your inventory. Sell missions require constant vigilance; keep your eyes peeled as the job isn’t over until all of your Cargo is safely transported, and destroyed Cargo can eat into your profits.

DEFEND YOUR WAREHOUSE
Major players attract attention and warehouses stocked with high volumes of valuable goods won’t stay secret for long. Act quickly to avoid losing a percentage of your Special Cargo in surprise attacks from resident gangs of Los Santos.

actual_1465290649.jpg

Defend your ground – gang members run counter operations with full frontal attacks and raids from back alleys.

NEW VIP WORK & CHALLENGES
CEOs will enjoy all of the perks of being a VIP, including access to new sources of illicit funds and challenges.

VIP Work

  • Headhunter: Assassinate key targets across the map against the clock.
  • Airfreight: Liberate some valuable cargo from its armed guard and fly it to safety.
  • Haulage: Be the first to deliver a trailer full of tax-exempt merchandise to its wrongful owner.

  • Salvage: Compete to retrieve the most lost cargo from the ocean floor.
actual_1465290656.jpg

Work alongside your fellow bodyguards to defend a Cargobob against player rivals and the LSPD in Airfreight.

NEW VEHICLES, ATTIRE & WEAPON ATTACHMENTS
Do you have a taste for the brutally fast, the brutally efficient or the just plain brutal? Whatever your preference, the latest wave of NEW transport options is bound to hit your sweet spot. From the monstrous HVY Brickade available at Warstock Cache & Carry and menacing Bravado Rumpo Custom from Southern San Andreas Autos, to the new generation of Super and Sports cars now in stock at Legendary Motorsport like the Pegassi Reaper, Vapid FMJ, Grotti Bestia GTS and Enus Windsor Drop, to the luxurious and speedy Buckingham Nimbus and Volatus from Elitas Travel and even the hulking Tug available on order from DockTease, getting from A to B has never looked and felt this good.

actual_1465290664.jpg

Previously exclusive VIP and bodyguard clothing plus all-new SecuroServ branded merchandise are also hitting the clothing racks in Los Santos. Whether you want your first impression to be a sophisticated crime lord or a gorilla for hire, there’s something just right for you. And nothing wrecks an otherwise solid Special Cargo mission like running short on ammo. Unleash a barrage of bullets from a range of weapons by grabbing Drum & Box Magazine attachments from your local Ammu-Nation.

From the sounds of it doing deliveries in public lobbies is a nightmare - especially since most other people in a lobby seems to be a CEO, so can instantly spawn pegasus vehicles to destroy you!

This is actually quite good, could do with some associates though.

I basically spent all my money on buying damn drums for weapons. Did have enough left to buy myself a red turtleneck though.
Have you got a warehouse and goods to sell?

I've just got 10k's worth of jewllery for 2k. Profit!

Anyone spent any more time on the update?

I think their decision to force you to play this mode in a public lobby is ridiculous. I was in a public lobby that had just myself and @Duffy in it - and int hat setting it was good doing some of the missions because you didn't have to worry about any human players screwing things up.

Bearing in mind one of the delivery missions is taking the cargo our to see on the slow-as-feck tugboat. I have no idea how you would survive that in a public lobby with people in Hydras...

My other main issue is that there is no way to adjust how much your associates are paid. You make a lot more as CEO than the associates do - so there isn't much incentive for people to be an associate - they may as well be a CEO themselves. It would be better if you could setup the share percentage - much as you do with heists.

Also disappointing that, having made the cargobob purchasable, you cannot actually use this for any of the stock collection missions. I had hoped that you could pickup the vehicle containing the stock, but that has been prevented.

Aside from those issues, the new FMJ car is extremely good - v happy with that!

The offices are also good - I bought the $1m one and the location is good, but the highlight is being able to leave the building in a Pegasus vehicle of your own choice. They don't have an actual garage, but that feature makes up for this so the office has become my default spawn point.

I lost 81k worth of stock cause of some dick in a public lobby @swooshboy

I appreciate their idea is to have your associates protecting you during deliveries, but even with 3 people protecting you, there is no way they could stop everyone - and it only takes one missile from a Hydra to destroy your stock.

But even then - that concept falls down on the fact that you can't share profits with your associates - they only get a few thousand dollars.

If you find yourself in a public lobby on your own again - send me an invite!!

Still saving up to buy a business. Taking ages.
Did you buy the office already? So it's just the warehouse you are needing to buy?

If it's the warehouse, then I'm not sure how bothered I would be. It's very difficult to make money unless you are in a lobby on your own, or a small one where everyone else is doing the same things - and everyone leaves each other alone.

So I wouldn't spend all your cash on a warehouse just yet.

Just made 325k from selling 21 crates, it was easier to collect the cargo when everyone left the lobby otherwise its pointless, everyone's a dick, if i had the time i would of filled the warehouse to see how much i would have got.

You can try doing this in a free aim lobby, they usually have far less people on it. A good chance of being alone.

I think a full large warehouse will net you $2.2m

Totally agree about people being dicks in public lobbies...

Will give this a try...

Also, if you find yourself in a session with 10 or less, and their names are all different colors, then theres a good chance that they are all minding their own business (literally) doing their CEO things - so worth sticking around and seeing how that lobby goes.

Nah I need both office and warehouse and currently have around 300k
