I clicked on that really hoping it was real.
I know, right? Moyes really needs to go. Wanker thinks just because he is at Man United, he can get whosoever he wants, whenever he wants.Even Arsenal are making signings now.
Don't know how I feel about it. On one hand, it'd be hilarious to see Liverpool lose their star player to another PL club again but on the other, he'd make Arsenal a much, much better team. I think I'd prefer it if he just went to Madrid.

The way I see it Arsenal are more than just a pretty centre forward away from being title challengers. Suarez, with his ability to pick something out of nothing, may bring success in the domestic cups though. That's about it, for me.
Now for the positives, we get to see Suarez return to Anfield and play in front of the fans that so idolised him and stood behind him. We all know he'll do something stupid while at Arsenal too, so we can enjoy that as well. From an entertainment perspective of a United fan, there's more positives than negatives regarding this move.
That's the first time I ever heard Suárez being described as pretty.
Suarez won't be enough, but it never hurts footballistically to have someone who can guarantee you at least 25 goals a season. Probably 30.

In other news, what has happened to my football club? I used to get excited over signing unknowns because I trusted Wenger to turn them into superheroes, and now we're bidding £40,000,000 for a single player. Jesus Christ.
What?
I just said that Suarez won't be enough on his own to win the league but he guarantees a lot of added goals to your team.
And Grinner, I tend to agree, but I trust Wenger implicitly.
Haven't you been in the 'Wenger out' camp, Al?
I can't help but feel we could get Rooney and one other for not much more money. Although I'm sure Rooney wants to go to Chelsea if he's going to move. I do trust Wenger too, but he has a history of getting fecked over by players so it's not him that's the issue.
On another note: I wonder why Chelsea aren't in for him. He would be perfect there. Jose would gouge players/managers eyes and then Suarez can go and bite them. He would also fit in well with Captain Marvelous.
When I've not been coming off post-defeat insanity, I've always been in the camp of 'if we have money to spend, then Wenger's at fault. If he hasn't, Wenger's a genius.'
It's becoming clear that Wenger wants to improve the squad and is now being backed. I agree with you on Rooney but Wenger will argue Suarez can play in attacking midfield, left wing and up top on his own. His versatility is two players.
I'm pretty sure Rooney can play all of those positions....he can play anywhere and be good. He's buying Suarez to lead the line and nothing else. With those gnashers he might have him replace Gunnersaurus though.
I think we can all agree that don't allow players with questionable character anywhere near our team.

BUT if Wenger can control him, Arsenal would have a genuine chance of getting 3rd place...
With his record of biting, they're gonna need that release clause.
I'm not sure Rooney's interested in coming to Arsenal and the wages are ludicrous. Whereas Suarez' external attitude is worrying, Rooney's on pitch attitude is too.
Excuse me?I think we can all agree that don't allow players with questionable character anywhere near our team.
It's Suárez's on pitch attitude that landed him an 8-game ban and a 10-game ban. "Moral issues" aside, he's quite a liability in this sense.

I don't get why Arsenal would want to get involved with this 'let's buy expensive' striker game. If they're going to 'swim or get drawn' mode going for the title, they'll need more than a striker for that with the way Chelsea and City going mad this season. I think for clubs like us without the sugary daddys, the way forward is United or Dortmund way: buying world class potential, and shaping them to be the best. They're maybe still expensive, but surely cost much less than buying the ready made world class player. Unless if you can get a world class bargain, like RvP for 25m, Gotze for 35m, or Thiago for 18m.
That's Bernard (£21M).There must be some wonder kid somewhere they can spend 30m on.
Arsenal doesn't have a sugar daddy. If they have 40+ million within their budget to spend on a player then they can do so. It's not like they're relying on external means of funding. Also, Arsenal have been "buying world class potential" for a few years now and it still hasn't quite worked out. Most people have been asking for the board and Wenger to buy top talent in order to compete so Suarez may be the first of those signings. Can't really fault them for wanting to make a push for a top player...I think we can all agree they need one after losing so many over the past 2 or 3 summers.
