Thanks Damien.
Then again, some players can't help how bad they play. #praytheshiiteplayersRemoved a few posts. Stick to taking the piss out of Gerrard rather than making countless comments/pictures on someone who can't help the way they look.
Any posts I've missed/you think should also be removed/action taken over, let me know. Thanks.
Apologies if any of mine crossed a line.
Personally speaking i think people are reading way too much into it. It doesn't matter who the fan individual fan was or what he looked like. Any fan was caught on camera in the circumstances saying " I dont believe it" was always going be a subject of gifs etc.
Yea but a person might just think nothing of it, if they were taken piss out of and laugh about it, but another person might get distraught. Remember the comedians who phoned the nurse about the queen and how that turned out.
Cringe.
So basically, everyone moaning in this thread about people laughing at that Liverpool fan are saying all of those memes shouldn't be laughed at? (Crazy gf, unlucky ginger lad, wot woman, wot woman)

I wouldn't consider those things to be as personal or nasty as making fun of someones appearance or weight. So basically, everyone moaning in this thread about people laughing at that Liverpool fan are saying all of those memes shouldn't be laughed at? The posts making fun of his appearance were rightly deleted, but yeah, they weren't all in that context. Sure it's probably for the best anyway.
There is 2 sides to even this part IMO. Yeah people are people and live how they want so shouldn't be mocked.
But at the same time, people control most of their lives for the big part of it. Surely that guy will have been insulted about being larger than most before. If he was that conscious about it surely he would do something about it? (Not saying he should have to). I've got a receding hairline and a nose which looks like it's been smashed about in a UFC ring and people take the piss, even people I hardly know.
I could understand if this fella emailed the forum and requested it. It's all going to be readily available all over the rest of the internet anyway.
I've had my laughs in here anyway. You could say most of it is too far.
Gerard slipping is hilarious to us. He could be suicidal for all we know. It's the same thing. Just because one person earns more than most, doesn't mean their emotions, mental stability is any different. Gazza is a decent example of this.
Why?I wouldn't consider those things to be as personal or nasty as making fun of someones appearance or weight.
Well that is true, but for example when I look at a meme of bad luck brian I laugh at what is written and what bad luck brian means, not his appearance. That Liverpool fan was solely being made fun of for his appearance. Most memes are unfair and a lot of them I either don't laugh at or If I do laugh at I feel guilty about it. Truth be told it is unfair for people to become memes but most of the time people are laughing at what the meme means. What was happening with the Liverpool fan for me was simply bullying and nothing else. Why?
Crazy gf looks crazy... Yeah bit a show maybe so you may have a case.
Unlucky ginger lad is a year book photo? But it's the perception people have of that image not. That could easily be detrimental to him and his life for all we know? (I actually don't think it is and I am sure I've seen a picture of him recently laughing about it).
Wot woman. That's literally a photo someone took in a car park for a funny photo. Because of her appearance. It's exactly the same as this.
Those were examples. There are hundreds, thousands online where someone will be offended by it. They are all pretty personal attacks. Just imagine someone taking a photo of you and plastering it around the internet with a funny caption. Then random people recognising you in a bar or street and pointing / laughing or shouting your catchphrase at you.

Gerrard and his mental stability can fvck right off. He didn't check ours before kissing the camera at OT, or assisting Drogba for that matter.
Im not sure it is stretching it. If he logged onto the caf and saw what people were saying about the way he looks im sure he would find it very depressing. I know I certainly would. Although everyone reacts differently to insults. For me making fun of someones appearance is very cruel. I don't see a big problem with finding his reaction funny though. But like I said, if I went onto facebook or something and saw people making fun of how I looked I would find it depressing.'Bullying' is stretching it. Lets just remember nearly every single person was slagged in that reaction gif because Liverpool fecked up and it was funny. Lets not go into dangerous territory here.

Some people are just fecking idiots. Also, that's a none story as the woman in question already had problems in her life. It was just a story for the sake of being a story. Media blowing things out of proportion.
I don't see anything wrong with laughing at his reaction. In the pics thread people upload their pictures and probably expect them to be photoshopped and it is normally done by people on the caf that they are friends with and it isn't really personal. And like I said different people react differently to insults and im sure the people on the caf that are called fat are ones that are known to be able to take it. The fact that it is done to their face by people they know in a banterful way makes it different I guess. I don't mean to sound like im someone who considers themselves to be perfect or politically correct, I certainly am not. I just couldnt help but feel sorry for the person. I know I wouldn't like to log on to a football forum and see my appearance being made fun of by people I don't know. The fact that it is people you don't know makes it seem more serious and cruel imo as it is not people laughing with you.He is basically a meme for what he said... The words he spoke, over his image, is a meme. Yeah his appearance makes it funnier to some, but it's the actual breaking of his heart and utter disbelief which does it for most.
You can photoshop anyone onto anything, look at the "show me your pics" thread. Some of the lads have been battered in there with photoshop and about their appearance. I remember some fella with tight jeans, tight pink shirt, and a decent gut getting quite a bit of stick.
I hope he breaks down after the weekend and never fecking recovers. There's so many things wrong with the cnut.
Personally I don't mind the cnut to be honest. I still feel that he "deserves" to win the league having had a magnificent career playing for, and often carrying his boyhood club.
Still, a piss taking thread in a rivals' internet forum is the kind of torture I expect pro footballers to survive. It pales into comparison with what he can expect next season in every away fixture if City don't feck things up this weekend.
I just showed myfriend that gif of suarez and pulis and he was dying laughing
I agree. gerrard is earning 150k a week. He dont give a toss about any fans even his own. I know i wouldnt if i was earning that much a year. He even took the mickey out of himself by saying he "literally slipped"
He slips, he loses, he drives home in his bentley or whatever he is driving to his big house and blonde wife and goes to sleep, nice and peacefully.
I thought it was too premature for him to show that kind of emotion. They really got carried away, didn't they.
He was so sure they had it wrapped up.
I don't want to live ina world where we can't laugh at fat people.
Find the professor farnsworth meme.
We're number 2! We're number 2!
He was so sure they had it wrapped up.
We're number 2! We're number 2!
That two 'second best team' titles for Gerrard now, how appropriate.
I'm thinking he should be called "Slippery Steve" now. Or maybe Slip Steven.
Maybe a little Jon Lennon-esque chant, "Slippin' and a sliddin', peepin' and a hidin', been told a long time ago...."
Don't you dare ruining this for us. He's hurting alright. I hope he still will on Sunday night.
He was so sure they had it wrapped up.
