I'm a big England fan, I do think Gerrard is a very overrated tool, and I really can't stand him. I'd probably think better of him if he wasn't the England captain, as it makes the media make him out to be sort sort of saint, when we know it's far from the truth with the starfish dives, the two footed tackles, the back passes, and the DJ beating.

No. Laughing at someone for how he looks in pretty sad. Last time the Steven Gerrard as a chained dog gif was posted, I said that it was distasteful to degrade him to a dog and I got a little stick for it for being a killjoy. So I didn't comment anything on stuff said about this guy. I have seen people wishing injuries on players here. We have also seen really bad stuff said about Moyes. One compared Moyes to cancer and stuff. And people here say that they are better than the ones on RAWK. I hope people here don't go wishing death.
P.S: I will get a lot of stick for this post.
Generally if it's footballers I don't mind a bit of slagging because they get paid a lot of money to play football which is most people's dream.

Even footballers are human just like us. Making fun is ok. A bit of slagging is ok. But don't degrade them. Those footballers have worked very hard to get where they are. But people get nasty with their hate and worship. They earn a lot doesn't mean they deserve nasty shit. Anyways, I won't say more about this. a) What the hell is wrong with being portrayed as a dog? There are a million harsher piss-takes, it's nothing. And b) he's about the biggest cnut in football, so if anybody does deserve it, it's him.
Taking the piss out of the fans appearance I can understand may not be to everyone's taste but any player who picks up about 100k a week I think can afford to take a few gifs and memes on the chin.

See, I don't think having some kind of empathy is being precious at all. Taking the piss, banter and mockery are all fine. Being needlessly cruel isn't. Admittedly the line between them can be blurry sometimes.
