I don't know what the purpose is, but I agree. LvG detestes the media and the shite they write on a daily basis, just look at his interviews. I don't see him trying to help them sell more papers by giving them a gentle nudge in the right direction in identifying our targets. This is probably a wild goose chase to occupy them for a few days while the club focus on the proper targets.

You can't really rule out anyone all he said was it's not the player linked in the paper so other than whoever that player was it could be anyone else. This all seems destined to end in a big anti climax.
We are making a habit of signing players with long names which are impossible to spell.
My generation does, my fathers generation learned English in school but LVG could be my granddad. I dont think he had English in school and if he had it wasnt at a very high level i suppose. Before he became a manager he was a gym teacher, i dont think he learned much English at school tbh.
