I would go and buy him now if I was Gill or Kenyon, Barcelona and Real Madrid cannot afford him now but they undoubtedly could next season. Whereas this summer you have made £63million or so in the transfer market and Chelsea have expressed their desires for a marquee player. I'd be amazed if both us and haven't made substantial bids that were simply not substantial enough.

Know it sounds like a knee jerk reaction, but after the last 2 performances we need to sign a player like this to inject some creativitty into our team and give us more options.

Atletico Madrid striker Sergio Aguero has ruled out a move away from the club before the close of the transfer window.
Chelsea have been strongly linked with a swoop for the Argentina international as they look to make a marquee signing.
However, Aguero's appearance for Atletico in their Champions League play-off against Panathinaikos looks set to end Chelsea's pursuit of the striker in this transfer window as he is now cup-tied for European competition.
Aguero, who scored in the 3-2 win over the Greek side on Wednesday night, insists he always wanted to stay at Atletico and hopes the speculation over his future will now end.
"I've always said I wanted to stay at Atletico and this is what has happened," said Aguero.
"I am very happy for the goal, but especially for the triumph."

We seriously need to do something about our CM, before spunking god knows what on a player who may, or may not suit us. But I'm afraid nothing of the sort is going to happen, the bulk of the Ronaldo money is already spoken for.

I don't get the need to compare him with Ronaldo when he plays CF and Ronaldo plays as a winger. They're both good at what they do.

The Tribuno informed today that Manchester United is in conversations with Athletico towards an agreement for striker Sergio " Kun" Aguero. It is rumoured that the price will be around £35,000,000 and it is seen as a treatment both sides are arranged to accept. Aguero is seen by Sir Alex Ferguson as a replacement for Christiano Ronaldo and it would reinforce his squad so that the United manager will have four experienced strikers.
I'd be enthusiastic if it's true, but most probably is a pisstake.

I'd have him at United in a second. It'd be nice to actually have a real Argentine world class player.
Problem is if we sign Aguero we will either have to drop Berbatov or play a 4-3-3 and drop all our conventional wingers such as Nani, Obertan, Park etc.
