Serge Aurier | Spurs player

I really don't understand why we are not going for him, and at the price quoted £24 million bargain in this inflated transfer market.

Tony V is great but he isn't getting any younger and has issues with his knee. Aurier is a young talented player, I understand he has personal/idiotic issues but it feels like we are missing out.

Plus Fabinho is likely to go PSG who I rate much more than Aurier. Missing out on two young right backs with great potentials.

He has been cleared to enter the UK according to ParisUnited6.

Disappointed if we don't get him. The MOTD analysis last week really highlighted how much space there is on the wings and a guy like Aurier could exploit it perfectly. Shame if he goes to Spurs

I'm not sure on the translation. It either means he's got the document to enter the UK or needs to send the document back to the relevant authorities???

He's a real talent indeed, but I hear he's a bit of a cnut and if that's true then I don't really mind.

Yeah it really is baffling that we're letting him go to another, this either means that we weren't seriously in for him or Mourinho thinks Darmian is capable enough to rotate with Tony V. Really would have liked him here, for 23m he'd be the perfect replacement for Valencia.

Even if ParisUnited are really ITk, there is a chance Aurier's agent pushed the United link to help with the spurs negotiation.

Never took this link seriously so dont really care. We have Val. Hopefully TFM can take over in a year or two.

I would have expected more outlets to be reporting our interest if that were the case.

Exactly, Darmian is decent for both roles but no one except for Tony V bombs up and down the wings taking players on, making space for the wingers/inside forwards.

I do have faith in Jose's transfer targets even Perisic who I ain't a big fan of but do understand why Jose would want him.

I think it's clear Aurier and Fabinho were not targets.

When asked about Tottenham on French TV yesterday, he admitted it' "almost done". The medical had already been done apparently so people should stop hurting their brain with going or not going for Aurier, won't happen for Manchester.

For feck sake watch him be brilliant for spurs then all the people saying how he has a bad attitude will start lapping him up.

Its clear Valencias on the decline, why didnt we go for him on a very reasonable price.

We need to learn as a club that we should buy players to give really good competition, what if Valencia starts to break down? all our other rbs are crap :(

Could very well have something to do with Aurier as a person and Mourinho not wanting to risk that. We seem to have a good dressing room right now.

Ibrahimovic signs - CAF oh noes, we are scared he might disrupt good vibes among players on and off pitch. This cnut face close to Spurs - CAF moans about not signing him because price in question and their opinion about him as player

Good luck to Spurs, i wouldnt sign him even for free.

Told you that Paris whatever twitter source being cocksure about him joining United was utter nonsense.

Seemed pretty clear if we wanted him we could've had him. I'm not worried.

Ridiculous to not go after him at that price.

Definitely going to regret that in a season or 2.

He would be great signing only on FM, people here in tunnel vision mode.

It is? I'd say he's been one of the best full backs in the league for the last seasons and have seen no signs that he wont play at the same level this season.

Regardless of whether he was the right option or not, we desperately need another quality RB, as it's clear that's the only side that will give us any attacking threat. If Valencia gets injured or loses form we'll lose a huge portion of our attacking play. We need more fullbacks, why isn't Mourinho seemingly aware of this?
