Unless you've missed the whole thread United are interested and are awaiting the result of his case in the next few days.
Or that poster didn't follow transfer threads to realize how reliable Sky source on transfer recently... ;)

I like that, you are funny. The kind of people who listens to rap are not "extra" homophobic. we live in a homophobic society in general. Gay people have only recently had laws relaxed in the UK and in the U.S. they are still fighting for certain allowances. Football is a very unkind environment for gay people and that is irrespective of the music people listen to.

I know a lot of people suffer from racism, prejudices, discrimination, homophobia...

A term can have diverse meanings depending the context of enunciation.

The personality of the person aand his environment also matter.

We can use to a same term to express different views or messages.

I see a very vulgar young who sends a message "Blanc is the slave of Zlatan".

I'm sure most football French fans agree with me.

If you change the context, the same words can be considered as homophobic

From reading the last few pages of this thread I have learned more about the French language than the possibility of Aurier joining us. Any transfer related news?

No, not really. Sky say we're not interested. Even if we were interested, he's currently unable to enter the UK due to his criminal record.

They can miss the flow of the game. A completed cross does not mean a good cross, it would not also show a cross that was made a second too late. Loads of variables that stats miss out on.
What counts as a completed cross? I would imagine one that makes contact with the player in the boxes head, or foot in a David bale position. Also, there should be a stat like "crucial cross" (one that actually gives the player a goal scoring opportunity. We have all seen a cross that is made and the player gets a touch on it but it's not in a favorable position

A cross is count as 'completed' if a teammate gets a touch to it before an opposition. It doesn't matter how good or bad the cross is.

That's not a good enough indicator. We've seen crossing been made and a player has to move backwards and take an awkward touch with his back to goal. Should be a crucial cross statistic

Lots of rumors about Chelsea being interested in Aurier and to be honest if I were him I think given the option of us or them in his position I'd go to Chelsea.
Would be amost certain to start ahead of moses
Would be well suited to a wing back role
Would know Luiz from their time in PSG
Would probably prefer London over Manchester
Would probably improve their team more than he would ours

In fact in terms of a solid defensive proposition Chelsea would probably be head and shoulders ahead of the rest of the league - possible the best in Europe?

---------------------------------------------------Courtois--------------------------------------------
------------------Azpiluceta------------------------Luiz----------------------Rudiger-----------------
Aurier----------------------------Kante-----------------------Bakayoko------------------------Alonso

Looking at that I hope PSG keep him!

I like this guy but trying to suss out without ging through 25 pages - did anyone credible link this?

Just thinking that mourinho said a lot of times that we are after 4 players and basically said 4 is perisic, if this source isn't good then its almost certainly nonsense

ParisUnited said a deal has been agreed, the ones that broke the Neymar news.

Wouldn't expect any news until tomorrow, his trial verdict isn't until then.

Very unlikely. 3 RB: Meunier, Aurier, Dani Alves.

A deal betwen the player and UNited, you mean?

Talk of Fosu Mensah loan seems to suggest this might be happening, guess its down to what happens tonorrow

Sending TFM on loan and getting this dickhead sounds about right, wouldnt be surprised.

But how crucial would it need to be ? Like Jesus/Christianity crucial or Pallister's deflected effort that landed on Bruce's head ?

'I know it was policeman but he was a bellend and asking for it.'

That should work in his defence, right lads?

I'm rooting for you Serge!

If he's a French citizen why does he need a visa to enter the UK? Don't they have a visa waiver and free eu movement atleast until brexit is formalized?

This is funny considering that three of our biggest legends were hardly saints (Best, Keane and Cantona). Also I wonder what people would say about Blanc if they knew what he said about United and the EPL prior to his time with us (ie when he was still a valid player).

Even Giggs had his (family) issues

Maradona was a drug addict, Best was a drunk, Giggs was the welsh version of Jamie Lannister, Keane was a bully, Baggio was a fragile creature who would go into depression simply because someone looked angry at him. These players would walk into any squad in the world. In my opinion, what really matter is his talent and what he does on the pitch. Hence why Id rather have someone with Giggs issues then with Best issues or Maradona issues (the latter two were way better players then Giggs).

Also many people think that Blanc is a gentleman. He's not. He turned us down 2-3 times and was quite vocal about it (he literally thrashed the EPL and United) up until SAF picked him from the rubbish can (ie Inter reserves) and gave him a career lifeline that he didn't deserve. He would never joined if he could still run.

Zlatan is a great player but he does have the tendency to dominate weak managers. The same accusations were thrown at Allegri during Ibra's stay at AC Milan. It went pretty viral with autogol laughing at it in every occasion.

Such accusations went in Allegri's head and at one point it nearly degenerated into a fist fight between the manager and the player. Everything was documented by Zambrotta.

A season long loan will be fantastic for TFM.

Regular football under a solid coach, hopefully he gets plenty of game time and comes back next season raring to go.

I'd take Aurier, 100%.

I haven't been following this at all, what's this about a trial etc? Is he actually coming?

Would rather someone more professional than a clown like Aurier but hope he doesn't cause any disruptions if he came.

We must be pretty sure about getting another player in of we're letting TFM go out on loan. Makes me wonder whether Aurier is the "smokescreen" for someone else as it seems like a total toss of the coin as to whether he's going to be able to sign for us.

You would have thought so, but this is Utd we are talking about - didn't seem like we envisaged the ban / Griez turning us down.

We're loaning Fosu-Mensah because he hardly played last season, not because we are making room for another signing.

indeed - plus Im not sure TFM will be a fullback for us anyway - seems more like Tzanube might be cover for valencia (though I think lindelof can play right back as well cant he?... a d of course if he is ever fit jones can cover that role as well)
