I'm thinking we'll just use Bailly as the back-up right back to be honest, because neither Smalling or Jones left the club. Also Young is still at the club so he is also an option.

He played there for Toulouse about five years ago. Never did for PSG though.

I maybe wrong but in one of the compilation videos I saw him playing as left back.

Edit: According to transfermarkt, he didn't play as LB for PSG. So yeah maybe I watched mirrored version video.

I'm pretty sure that he did play on the left when everyone else was injured or suspended.

Ok now I'm back to my confused state. Probably I watched proper video.

Seriously though, there was a video posted in this thread and he was attacking from left side, so thought he played as LB few times.

May have been mirrored. Did Cavani miss with his left or right foot?

Haven't seen him play on the left. But then @Ecstatic @JPRouve and @kouroux will have more to say on his versatility.
He played there a few times, never for PSG on a consistent basis though. We already have Darmian as a right footed LB/LWB, we don't want another. As good as he is a RB, Aurier would be a bit pointless on the left.

CB, RB: yes
LB: it would be strange, I have never seen him on the left.

Cheers.

Darmian is a bit meh attacking wise. Would prefer to have a proper attacking full back option on both sides tbh and we don't see to be into a LB this window.

It was against Nice, if I'm not mistaken.

However attacking is, on the left I'm not so sure he'd be direct, there will always be the instinct on cutting inside.

I read the thread title as '5 day trial starts today' and thought it was a bit of a different approach from us

It's in the thread title.

I'm aware of the title thread, was querying if there was any actual news.

S-Day: Trial starts today hardly gives any insight into what is actually happening, and reading through the last 10 odd comments all trying to ascertain if he plays LB or not.......

The trail starts today, so no, there's no update yet.

The trial is today. That's the news, that's the latest news. You won't hear much else until the trial is finished.

No need to be so blunt, there may have been news reports with developments etc.....

Stops auto takedowns.

I know. Personally I don't see the issue with compilations on the likes of Youtube or whatever, cant see what harm that does. Highlights I can understand but wheres the harm in having (e.g) United comeback against Blackpool in 2010/2011 on Youtube? Not like its hurting anyones tv rights for something that's not very recent. Having the highlights of that nights CL games within a few minutes of the game finishing I can see the issue with.

indeed - plus Im not sure TFM will be a fullback for us anyway - seems more like Tzanube might be cover for valencia (though I think lindelof can play right back as well cant he?... a d of course if he is ever fit jones can cover that role as well)
 a fit Jones, one can dream.

Need French speaker to translate it properly. Looked at Google translate and translation doesn't cut it.

@kouroux @JPRouve

One of the people replying to this claimed that the case with the police officer is a separate one and that the appeal case today was solely related to whether or not Aurier could enter England. Claims the judgement on the issue with the police officer will come later. Not sure whether that has any credibility. Doesn't really make sense to me but maybe there's something in it. Weird Paris Utd and other sources gave an exact date. Don't think they needed to risk their credibility so much for no real reason. With TFM going out on loan I'm inclined to believe we have interest in Aurier tbh. The timing seems too coincidental.
