Yeah sorry I was asking that because I knew he was invisibleGenerally jog around 2 yards behind Bayern players off the ball, then fall over/lose the ball every time he received it.
He was abysmal. Yet again.

If West Ham want to sign Ward Prowse for £35m instead of Mctominay, that's their loss. I'd much rather keep Mctominay, he's a very useful squad option.
McT is brilliant at protecting the back 4 in a team that is parking the bus - because he wins so many headers.
Mctominay is the most natural replacement for Rice in terms of style of play, he may not be as calm or as good on the ball in terms of calmness and passing ability but the way he dispossesses opposing players and can drive the ball forward is very similar to Rice.
Mctominay is easily worth 40m
I'm glad we stuck out for >£40m. We cane the club for selling cheaply, and when we have a player who could easily command a fee of £40m, we criticize them for going too high.
I feel there's a very decent #8, box to box CM, in him that we've failed to utilise correctly and that he really could have become a very decent squad player with us had we used him more, when selected, in his best role.
Even at £45m, McTominay is an insanely good deal. Home grown, international player, strong mentality, versatile to the manager’s needs, entering his peak years.
45m is a fair price
he’s a fine player to have around the squad. Strong mentality and the kind of profile ETH likes, by all accounts. I think he’s still got room to improve, even at 26.
He's worth keeping if we properly use him as a utility player.
He can play CB, as an 8 and I think he could even play fullback and CF and give you something.
If McTominay were Brighton or West Ham player, people would rate him £100m +. It is no wonder teams like Bayern Munchen are interested.
Well, Rice and Caicedo who are worse players are now somehow rated £100m players. McTominay, if we use their measurement, would be worth lot of millions more.
I would ask instead. What does Rice and Caicedo do to be valued £100m+? None of those are better players looking from attacking piont of view. With a good engine and strong in physical game McTominay is a all around player.
McTominay would make a lot of posters on here eat humble pie if he moves to Bayern.
Chronically underrated by this place. Don’t see based on last season how Rice is much better (although he is better) and he went for £100m.
Whoever sanctioned selling Fred over him needs shown their P45.
26 minutes on the pitch, 8 touches and 3 accurate passes.
Whats the point.

These people. I’ll leave it here.
How could he give something as a fullback or number 9?! He barely gives anything as a midfielder!!I was talking about how he should be used given he's here but there's no doubt his effort and attitude has been terrible thos season. He's no use anywhere the way he is at the moment.
fresh legs, n stuff26 minutes on the pitch, 8 touches and 3 accurate passes.

Amazingly, that’s an improvement on his performance vs Brighton, where he racked up 20 touches in 85 minutes.
Not only we have a mediocre squad, but also mediocre fanbase rating MctominayThese people. I’ll leave it here.
I can abide a bad first touch or lack of quality on the ball in general. The complete lack of effort is inexcusable. He's jogging around and not even trying, like he's trying to prove a point or something. He won't see another minute on the pitch this season when 2 if/when Mount, Amrabat and Mainoo are fit.
Those people are fecking crazy. These people. I’ll leave it here.

In fairness, he does look gorgeous jogging around the pitch. He makes it look effortless out there, knees barely bent, his relaxed muscles bouncing with every step, his blonde hair completely untainted with sweat. You can't blame him for never breaking into a sprint, as the wind might lift his shirt revealing his washboard abs and everyone would completely forget there's a football match going on.

We look after our ownIn their defense, why sell a player for 30m when you can just give him away on a free when his contract expires instead?
That must have been really annoying for him - trying so hard to hide on the pitch only to still stumble onto the ball 20 times in 85 minutes.Amazingly, that’s an improvement on his performance vs Brighton, where he racked up 20 touches in 85 minutes.
It shows how bad Donny actually is. He is behind every other midfielder we have in the pecking order. If there was one manager that was going to play him, it's ETH.I know Donnys future isn’t with us but surely he still offers more that this guy.
