I don't think people can't see it, it's just that he mostly doesn't show it. He was absolute dogwater in that first half but in the 2nd he was flawless in everything he did & every decision he made. He'll get his plaudits when he shows more 2nd half and less 1st half.People will eventually realise he’s a good player.

Because he will be poor in the next game. He has made this a very consistent theme. He has a good game and then people praise him to the ends of the universe, and then his next game is almost guaranteed to be bad and they are brought back to earth again.
It happens far too often. It is just too predictable.
In the end, I think people still need to remember Brentford are a low-tier club.
He played well tonight but you will see a pattern in the quality of the opposition when he does play well. It’s pretty much always awful opposition. He has to bring that in bigger games against better sides.People will eventually realise he’s a good player.

Absolutely no need for the likes of Haidara if he keeps doing like that. Need someone to partner him now.
We missed McTominay at Villa Park. We'll miss him if he's injured his back.
He's the only player we have who can fulfil the tactical role that Ralf's system demands: Stepping in at key moments in midfield, winning the ball and carrying it forward.
Very good tonight. However, makes you worry that if he's out for a while that we'll be reliant on old man Matic.
I agree, he needs to play like this way more, but I would have him and Mejbri rotate that position and focus on that deeper midfield partner.we are blindsided by his once in a while 8/10 performances and ignored that position, we need a quality players in that position
Its just a matter of time cafe goes wild when he has a poor game
