His improvement over a 12 month period is quite astounding. We look like a completely different team when hes on song.
This lad is the complete package, growing in confidence every game. Plays much better when Pogba is not around. Good leadership on the field. Best thing is his positional sense, knows where to be and where the ball is headed.
He shouldn't be replacing him, they should be in a 3 with pogba. Would have been a perfect midfield
Knew it wouldn’t take long. People just can’t be happy for a player without slagging off another to suit their agenda. Stupid. Why does Pogba have to been brought up in every thread? Any chance to bash him.
When young players with talent are given chances over an extended period of time, they'll improve. It's not difficult to grasp.
Came to post pretty much this. To be booked on 10m and not go missing for the remainder is brilliant. He still got stuck in and showed maturity. The most impressive thing is he had a great game that didn't change despite an early yellow
Fergie was bending Mou's ear about him, right? No wonder, Fergie can spot character from miles away, and our boy Scott's got tons of it.
If he keeps it up and stays focused and keeps adding strings to his bow, this may well be another Fletcher situation.
Yes! Very impressive, still put in some great tackles and interceptions. The most impressive thing is he had a great game that didn't change despite an early yellow
I love this shit.
McGuire as captain and McTominay and DDG as vice captains from next season.
We have a lot of potential captain types in our youth products.McGuire as captain and McTominay and DDG as vice captains from next season.
Build the spine from there.
He's better than Herrera though. Far more consistent.I agree. Unfortunately at this stage he should be what Herrera is at PSG, a very good squad player to rotate and squad depht (same for James) but they're key players here.
I keep reading this. What's the source? You can hardly imagine how happy I'd be to give credit to SAF instead of some portuguese coach for bringing our new midfield dominator to the fore.Fergie was bending Mou's ear about him, right? I don't think so. I think Herrera offered more going forward with his passing. He's better than Herrera though. Far more consistent.
.
Presumably this video.I keep reading this. What's the source? You can hardly imagine how happy I'd be to give credit to SAF instead of some portuguese coach for bringing our new midfield dominator to the fore.
This, like it or not he is our midfield general. He will get the recognition his performances deserve soon enough. Not that it really matters but he needs the number 16 on his shirt next season, after Keane and Carrick
Iv got to admitt, i wasnt a fan initially, but he's really changing my opinion and can see him getting better and better.
McGuire.
