Leaves club.
New
Even if the new guy does well, there's every chance he's here for 5/6 years maximum before moving on. In those rare situations where someone leaves on good terms, there will be always be an opportunity for him to come back at some point. For the best. This penchant for nostalgia has only ever caused us problems. Also you can’t be having someone under you who clearly wants the job.
Leaves with his rep improved and will surely get a decent job soon. He always has the chance in the future if he does well.
I imagine he's known for quite a while the announcement was just held until RvN's last game yesterday and Amorim's last game with Sporting.Disgraceful decision and entirely predictable. Keeping him hanging on is despicable. We treated De Gea abysmally and these tight fisted skinflints are producing more of the same to a club legend.
It was Amorim’s decision. Weirdo.Disgraceful decision and entirely predictable. Keeping him hanging on is despicable. We treated De Gea abysmally and these tight fisted skinflints are producing more of the same to a club legend.
There could be a few PL jobs coming up soon.Somebody leaves the club with their head held high for the first time in a long time Ruud.
I hope he gets a really good job somewhere
and perfectly normal and understandable. It was Amorim’s decision. Weirdo.
Weird reaction to Amorim getting to pick his own staff.Disgraceful decision and entirely predictable. Keeping him hanging on is despicable. We treated De Gea abysmally and these tight fisted skinflints are producing more of the same to a club legend.
Who has kept him hanging on? Amorim said he will make the decision when he comes to England as he was concentrating on Sporting up to last nightDisgraceful decision and entirely predictable. Should have been made officially clear when the Amorim appointment was made and Ruud made it clear he didn't know where he stood in repeated interviews. The fans themselves deserved clarity. He had been the height of professionalism throughout all this and will not doubt have his contract paid off but that's not the point. He deserved to stay.I imagine he's known for quite a while the announcement was just held until RvN's last game yesterday and Amorim's last game with Sporting.
He's definitely done a great job over his four games and smoothed the way for Amorim admirably, he's been very classy throughout.

I'm just pissed off that another club legend has been treated so badly.Who has kept him hanging on? Amorim said he will make the decision when he comes to England as he was concentrating on Sporting up to last night
Watch him go to Pool to join Slot
Looks like a clearout
I can see that, but you need to let Ruben be his own man and sink or swim on his own decisions.I'm just pissed off that another club legend has been treated so badly.
Why has he been treated so badly then? He was praising the club for how they have been open and honest with him throughout as recently as yesterday..I'm just pissed off that another club legend has been treated so badly.
