Russian invasion of Ukraine | Fewer tweets, more discussion

wait whats going on , someone give me the cliff notes...is a coup happening?

Wagner has gone allegedly launched a coup against the MoD. Prigozhin is sending his forces into Rostov, the MoD and military officials are being frog marched in front of a camera and asking Wagner soldiers to arrest him. Moscow is on lockdown of sorts and a APC has been seen in the streets.

That's where most of the action is in terms of near real time reports from people on the ground. Unfortunately, this situation is moving to fluidly for us to wait for tweets with written articles behind them, so most of the info is going to come from Russian social media.
All I'm saying is that this account is known for posting anything he comes across on Telegram so it should be taken with a pinch of salt

Holy shit. So what's the status on bakmut if they are basically turning around and headed to Moscow.

Not as of yet. Just a lot of troop movements by Wagner into Russian cities near Ukraine.

Quite interesting developments

Surely Ukraine aren’t standing still now? It must be chaos on the Russian front lines

Trouble is, much of southern and eastern Ukraine is mined now, so they wouldn’t be able to move as quickly if they tried. Also, all Russian troops are still on the ground there. Only Wagner appear to have left.

Just got back from a meeting & perused the last few pages.

Can't wait to start seeing daylight clips of who is where & in what condition.

Correct. The MI-24 is an attack hellicopter with troop transport capabilities while the MI-28 is a pure attack hellicopter.
I’ll always have a soft spot in my heart for the 24 due to how the Wolverines took one out in Red Dawn.

I'm really getting the feeling this is all being done to test the loyalties in Moscow and see if secondary coups can be started. Wagner launch and attack on their own state and now what? Great you've got a building. Next move?

It's 5.30am in Rostov.

The streets are surely not that busy with pedestrians and people hanging out.

I'm not sure those pictures are recent.

According to Telegram Wagner has captured the headquarters of the southern military district and the building of the ministry of internal affairs in Rostov
