His metrics with Sporting are so absurdly good that i don’t know what to make of the Portuguese league based on that.
de Ligt is pretty aggressive and pushes up a fair bit, Yoro falls off and sweeps behind more. I can see the logic in it, but maybe we'll find out.
I agree completely, and it’s only natural that those conversations would have taken place. With Ten Hag’s challenging start, it would make sense for the club to have explored backup options with other managers in case a swift decision became necessary, like now. Because of that preparation, we could realistically see Amorim in charge for our game against Leicester on Wednesday.

Yeah, I can agree with that. He is young enough that he'll hopefully adapt quickly to whatever his role ends up being. His pace would be useful when the wide CB has to cover for a fullback being caught too far upfield.
I would definitely have De Ligt as the central defender as well.

How is he an yes man? If there is something that Sporting fans complained sometimes is that he had too much power. Just as an example, Viana the DoF bought Fresneda from Valladollid as he was hailed as the new spanish wonder kid with interest from clubs like Arsenal and he doesn't play him.

I think it'll be great in all honesty. Given the makeup of our squad I think it'll suit us well.
Amorim is one of the top rated up and coming coaches.

Ten Hags gross incompetence has done him no favours. Lot of the season left. If he can't turn it around mid season his reputation could take a hit if we continue to stink of Ten Hags mess all the way until the end of the season.
