Work rate and energy is absolutely immense from Sporting

I do agree we need to reign ourselves a bit, our squad has handful of players who can play with the intensity shown by his players today. Will take some time for him to figure things out

He's earned 2 seasons extra worth of goodwill from me off the back of this Sporting performance in the CL against the sky blue bastards :lol: :drool:
 
Think he might partly go energy over pure quality. Rashford can be good but with his lack of intensity will not get many minutes looking at this Sporting style of play.
 
Wonder if he will now wonder if he could have done something extra special with Sporting this season if he stayed until the end of the season.

Work rate and team play will need to improve a lot with United's players. Some send off for Rúben Amorim final home game with his Sporting CP side hammering Manchester City.

Yep. Definitely something significant to walk into his first press conferences with confidence, in front of the British media rats.
 
Glad we got the deal done before this match.

If we were negotiating now we'd be struggling. He might not have wanted to leave.
 
Just watched the game and I think he is the right one. That second half was superb. Sporting looked like a difficult team to play against and so dangerous. It looked like a very disciplined performance. Well coached.

Our players are going to have to up their game to do what he is going to want them to do. I'm all in now. I'm sold.
 
Already inside Pep's head and he's not even step foot in Manchester yet. Love to see it.
 
Haven't seen Pep look quite as rattled as that on the touchline in a long time...

Yup. If he can do this with Sporting he should be able to replicate it at United, but not with the present squad which is a mix of slow possession players and pacy primadonnas.
