I missed the city game but yes we were much better against Liverpool.Except we didn’t do this against Liverpool and City.

The Saudis aren't stupid - they're moving away from being aging player's last payday.I don't see him being happy sitting about not playing. If there was an opportunity to go to Saudi I think he'd take it at this stage of his career. I think the issue may be Ineos will want a fee for him which is where the stumbling block may be.
The Saudis aren't stupid, they will want him for nothing.
We were also 11 playersI missed the city game but yes we were much better against Liverpool.
Both games nearly 50/50 of the ball. Today was the exception and not the rule, and we won by fighting.I missed the city game but yes we were much better against Liverpool.

The game against Liverpool is the blue print. We matched them. Today we was against 12 men. Ref was a joke.Is this the blueprint against top sides in away games? We rode our luck today, we could barely make any passes
Rashford really is an idiot, like so many players now also he could hve become so much better under Amorim
It’s more about people around him i feel. Extremely poorly advised.I think the issue with Rashford was his former success. For the manager to say he wasn't happy with his demeanor/ body language behind closed doors speaks volumes.
This isn't to demean Marcus in any way but a new environment is likely the best solution for him to reinvigorate himself. He's 100% not good enough for United on account of how he has chosen to make a contribution but even if he leaves this season he's still been a pivotal player in previous season when the club domestically and competitively have been absolutely woeful.
You obviously missed the Liverpool and City games, but you must have read something about those games? Is this the blueprint against top sides in away games? We rode our luck today, we could barely make any passes
Nah, the usual blueprint will be what we did to City and Liverpool. Is this the blueprint against top sides in away games? We rode our luck today, we could barely make any passes
Nonsense, as was proven today.
Rotating your squad is absolutely key to ensure you avoid injuries when you have a busy schedule as all premier league teams do, and it's absolutely key from a morale perspective to ensure your full squad feels valued and you get the required impact from the bench or that you can cover for injuries properly with confident players, and not have to bring back players who have been frozen out because of 2 injuries. Also builds internal competition and prevents complacency.
It's a big part of why Sir Alex was as consistent as he was, year after year. You would think United supporters should know about how important rotation is better than anyone.
Off the top of my mind, he played Ben Foster in the league cup final in 2009 against Spurs. He always used the backup keeper in the league cup and the few times we were in the Europa league/UEFA Cup. FA Cup he would sometimes rotate the keepers. Can you name a season where Fergie consistently played a Cup Keeper? Or just even regularly rotated a clear number 1 with a backup?
Pretty sure he also played Lindegaard in some cup competitionsOff the top of my mind, he played Ben Foster in the league cup final in 2009 against Spurs. Yeah. We regularly saw the backup goalkeeper while Sir Alex was in charge, whether it was kuszczack (for the life of me can't remember how to spell it), foster, lindegaard, howard, whoeverPretty sure he also played Lindegaard in some cup competitions
Just know it's not happeningJust win now thr next 2 games calmly and nicely please
As I previously posted. Southampton is his first real test. I am beginning to feel a bit more confident about it as well.So...
- Won away to City
- Draw and could have won away to Liverpool
- Won away to Arsenal with 10 men for 60 minutes
This is looking good
Spot on.Under Amorin, there's a character, spirit and fight in the team that I haven't seen for a long long time.
He's not afraid to make decisions that are best for the team, including using substitutions bravely and tactically and the dropping those providing an unwelcome distraction.
Yes I remember seeing Lindegaard quite regularly.Pretty sure he also played Lindegaard in some cup competitions
We’ve got to show the same level of desire against Southampton and Brighton next. The last 2 games were great but you've got to treat every fixture like it’s the biggest game of the season, which we have struggled with for years. How many times have we got a result against one of the top teams and followed it up with a defeat to Palace or Wolves!?
He certainly seems to be creating a steel and a belief though.
Yes, I think you're right. Not sure we have enough goals in the team yet to always beat teams we should be beating that sit deeper against us. The cups may suit us better right now than the league. It’s not just desire though, we know this squad is more suited to sitting deep, that they struggle against pace on the counter and struggle to create and score against teams that sit back. None of that is going to have changed based on the last two performances.
Playing with more fight and desire (and cutting out silky mistakes/red cards) is going to help but we are going to get exposed by so called lesser teams. I do results are going to be very up and down for rest of the season hopefully it will trend upwards.
If only we had any recent away games against top sides to consider. Is this the blueprint against top sides in away games? We rode our luck today, we could barely make any passes
We looked much better against City and Liverpool, I'd hope they were more the blueprint. Is this the blueprint against top sides in away games? We rode our luck today, we could barely make any passes
Yes, we intend to play with 10 men for an hour. Ungrateful much.Is this the blueprint against top sides in away games? We rode our luck today, we could barely make any passes

De Gea and Lindegaard was rotated quite a bit as I recall. Leighton and Sealey weren’t exactly rotated, but shifted quite a bit. Howard and Carroll took e few turns in 2003-2005. Ben Foster was league cup keeper in 2009. Van der Gouw I’d guess was the established back up keeper who played most games for United. Can you name a season where Fergie consistently played a Cup Keeper? Or just even regularly rotated a clear number 1 with a backup?
