Does anyone know where I can this fella's goal contributions for 2018 (calendar year) club and country?

Someone posted on reddit, it was around 42 or 43 and in 12th or 13th place.

Thanks, I asked the question because I saw this and couldn’t find a website to check if it’s accurate.

Is Lukaku now the forgotten man of United? Is he not the number 1 striker now?

That would be sort of silly decision that Jose would have made.......I credit Ole with much more sense.
I'd be surprised as well. Not the kind of game we should have a passenger in the build up. Spurs can press and our attackers will need options to pass to. His 'hefty' touch is better suited for games with a slack margin for error

100%. The best chance we have to win is to try to outscore them in a shoot-out and we need our best attacking players on the pitch. Martial's and Rashfords pace and movement can scare them.

Leave Lukaku as an option for the LAST 20 if we are struggling

So why leave our best goalscorer on the bench?

Not to mention he is crediting Martial as someone influential in the build-up. Martial and Lukaku are easily the biggest passengers we have in the squad, not only can this be backed by their running and sprint stats, but also when watching them off the ball. Both Martial and Lukaku are shoddy at pressing the ball and getting into pockets of space.

I read that Sanchez is not travelling, so I think the front 3 should be Rashford, Lukaku and Martial.

Because we have two 2 inform forwards more suited to our current style of play. Have you not watched our last 5 games?
The fast paced, attacking style requires players with touch that can link attacks, this is not Lukaku's strength. Sadly too often his first touch is where our attacks go to die.
He is a goal scorer for all his limitations and we are lucky to have that option from the bench now rather than Fellaini.

Think we have to start Martial. He does struggle with full backs faster than him, like Yedlin, Mbabu and whoever that Genk (or was it Celts Vigo) FB he faced a year or so back.

That said, I think the likes of Trippier and Davies will be in big trouble against him.

But if its a shootout and we need to outscore them then we need our best goal scorer on the pitch.
Even then I do think Martial has slacked off a little bit from the Cardiff game. He's not as influential as you think (at present)
I also think we can play great football without the number 9 being overly involved, the world of football has had many great sides with pure goalscorers up top.
I just hope Ole is good enough to bring it out of us.
Belgium in the summer gives me hope. That side would destroy Spurs IMO and that has Lukaku in their starting 11

I hope he's on the bench today. Rashford, on current form, is easily the superior striker. I can see Spurs' centre halves dealing easily with Lukaku and his lack of movement.

I won't be surprised if Martial is dropped tomorrow with Rashford and Lukaku starting.

I wouldn't be totally surprised either. Solskjaer has outright said they can and will play together and he might decide that opting for the two of them is a more aggressive move. If they were both able to play to their best together then it would certainly be quite alarming for defenders.

I don't actually expect him to do that today though given who we're facing.

I have a funny feeling he’ll start today, and it’ll be Lingard who ends up on the bench with Rashford pushed to the right.

I like the idea of Romelu, Tony and Marcus starting, but I doubt they fit well together. On the other side, it’s Ole now so maybe he can make them click. Interesting times!

Also have a feeling he'll start and will be disappointed in Ole if so. I may just have some residual Jose pessimism though.

I don't buy the idea that Lukaku starting would be a Mourinhoesque move on Solskjaer's part.

When Mourinho constantly played Lukaku it was because he fundamentally didn't trust our other strikers. Solskjaer clearly has great faith in Rashford, so if Lukaku starts too it won't be down to Mourinhoesque caution and dourness. Rather it will be because he sees starting Lukaku & Rashford together as an aggressive, attacking, front-foot move to spring against Spurs.

Disagree with what you said about Martial.

They couldn't destroy anyone at WC and struggled against a Japanese team full of midgets and were saved by lunching long balls to Fellaini and a last minute mistake from their opponent, but you think they can destroy one of the best PL club? OK.

And yet they outplayed Brasil

With Fellaini playing a very prominent role in stopping Neymar play.
See that's the problem with these arguments about big oafs being a useful option, it's always about stopping the other team playing, instead of trying to play the other team off the pitch with great football. That's all our last three managers cared about and that's why they all loved Fellaini. Hopefully those days are over for United from now on.

Means they were as miserable as a Mourinho team for needing Fellaini to stop a player from playing football.

Is marking an influential player out of the game heretical anti-football now? Many great managers have done it to great effect, including Fergie. You'd best go back in time and tell Ramsey and Schön as well.

It's for us who love to watch good players playing football.

I didn't like it when SAF did it with sticking Park on Pirlo.

Plenty of times we've applauded a player's performance consistenting entirely of keeping someone out the game. For example Herrera on Hazard.

If we played Chelsea I'd rather we had a plan to deal with Hazard rather than just 'hoping we score more'.

I wonder how someone like Pep wins games without having to worry about opponent best player and mark him out of the game by sticking a player on him the whole game.

Doing it is practically admitting you have no answer to deal with opponent threats, so chose the easy way instead by depriving yourself of one player.

We're there to make the match a nightmare for the opposition, not to allow them to play at their strengths because we like to watch good players play football.

Tottenham 0:1 Man Utd
Lazy fecking shit, barely moved when he came on yet looked absolutely knackard at the end

Bit of a blasphemy to be critical after such a great team performance, but we've seen Lukaku doesn't fit into any sort of a fluid fast attacking game, but I thought he didn't even offer any sort of energy or dynamism coming from the bench to play for 20mins.
