I hope he stays at Leicester but I don't think it will happen and I'd say he's worth £50m + easily.

If Arsenal get him for 40 m Leicester need to fire someone.. In today's market clearly worth almost double that.. Truly a fantastic winger.

I like him, but I'm always wary of players who don't complete 90 minutes week-in, week-out. Whether that's for tactical reasons or otherwise, there's something about them that managers don't totally trust.

Out of 37 matches that he played in last season, he played full 90 in 17. In 28 of 37 times he completed 80+ minutes. I’d say it was mostly tactical (as you said), after he had either scored or created goal/goals for Leicester to be in front, Ranieri wanted more defensive players to see the matches out. I’d take that for United :)

He is so good.. I really hope we sign him..
Martial - Mikhi - Mahrez would be fantastic.

Adnan as his understudy ...
Rooney is mucking it up.. fecking Rooney.

Especially when you take into account they are selling him to a direct rival. It's not like they are selling him abroad or something.
Levy would never sale a departing player for that little with the season he is coming from. They should at least get 60m for him especially when he is only 25.

Sublime. Nothing more to say.

I'd have him or Mhikky in the No.10 position. Rooney can only dream of doing something like that these days.
I hope Arsenal don't get Mahrez. If they do and Mahrez continues to play like he is playing, they'll probably win the league.

No longer will we be aiming to score 1 goal per game.

He will do more in 60 minutes than Rooney can do in 360!

The most reliable guy on the planet says, there is no agreement but he is interested in gunners.

He will be an excellent signing for Arsenal, unfortunately. If the move materialises, of course.

Well like I said if Juve are buying a 29 year old striker for £79m, 40m sure look like a bargain from a direct rival..

Ditto.

What cost £40m last summer even, is now £50m.

New TV deal has bumped up the money in the industry.

It makes sense to play Mahrez on the right than Ramsey at the moment. However, I think a midfield of Ramsey and Xhaka will be light and defensively weak. So Arsenal might have some squad balancing issue if he goes there.

I am amazed we are not going after him. I believe Rooney is hindering our pursuit of him because with Rooney playing down the middle, we do not need another top class wide player.

We need to get him.

Serious pace and dribbling. Mkhitaryan behind Zlatan, Martial and Mahrez wide makes too much sense.

What's up with Arsenal going after Leicester players? First it was Vardy and now Mahrez. Surely Mahrez can do much better than Arsenal?

In a world where Sterling goes for £50m and Juve are about to pay £80m+ for Higuain that's not really laughable... silly money but that's what is being banded about these days, especially this year with the increased TV money.

Unless he forces a move, Leicester would be mental to sell him for less than £60m.

Apparently Adidas/Chelsea had shirts for sale online with his name on the back. Seems they might be in for him.

our owners are pumping money into the club not taking it out, he isn't unhappy and his dream move is to Barcelona not Arsenal.
and either way £41m is no where near enough money in the current market.

We have Billionaire owners, Prem Money, CL money, don't want to sell and he has 3 years on his contract, any less than £60m and he isn't leaving

I see Leicester Fecking City fans are developing a bit of arrogance !:lol: thinking they are a now a much bigger club then they are.. you won the league last season, but are still not a top club (which is what Mahrez and every top player should aspire to go to) which the CL will prove. No disrespect..

He's right though to be fair. There's no real need to sell him so letting him go for £40 million in the current market would be silly.

Yeah I mean the nerve these guys have to demand what they want for their best player. Preposterous! When Watford said no to £35m for Ighalo and £30m for Deeney, if they had the balls to do that then I dont see anything wrong in Leicester, who are after all Champions, to ask for what they want. It doesnt mean they are arrogant.

At least if he goes to Arsenal he is a sure starter. Not sure at Chelsea with them just signing Willian to a four year deal and Mahrez's inability to play the #10. Maybe they move Willian to the left, Hazard to the #10 and Mahrez on the right?

Why couldn't Mahrez play at #10

They will apparently play 424

I thought people would be more hesitant in signing him. I remember last summer people were expecting Harry Kane to be a one season wonder. Mahrez could well end up as one.

To me it looks far more likely he won't be a one season wonder though. He's talented, been gradually improving since he came to England, and still quite young. If he's a one season wonder, it will be the first time I remember the PFA player of the year being a flash in the pan.

Let's see if hazard picks up his form.
Also, I think last year was the most unusual season we have ever had. Atleast the most unusual I have ever seen. So it's hard to tell from what happened last year

Hazard was good for about 5 years before last year's blip

I'm surprised there's not a huge battle for Mahrez, he looks the real deal. Would prefer if we went for him and a CM rather than Pogba
