I see Leicester Fecking City fans are developing a bit of arrogance !:lol: thinking they are a now a much bigger club then they are.. you won the league last season, but are still not a top club (which is what Mahrez and every top player should aspire to go to) which the CL will prove. No disrespect..
Leicester City fans arrogant? No mate, this is arrogance, from a Man Utd fan

He's a top player, we shouldn't allow him to go to Arsenal

We shouldn't allow him?? Really?? As if you had any say in it anyway. That is arrogance at it's highest.

I think he means that we should make a higher bid and get the player. There is nothing arrogant about the post.
I think he means "We are Man Utd, he would come here in preference to Arsenal" (or anywhere else). A lot of Man Utd fans have that "We are Man Utd" arrogance in their thinking. Putting in a higher bid is meaningless, it's up to the player where he goes, not the clubs.

True, however but they mean is that we should try to get him if he is indeed leaving and that we're a big club so we might succeed in doing so. If he has his heart set on Arsenal then yes he will go there.

Christ. It's a common phrase. He's not advocating slavery or claiming we can just snap our fingers and have players begging to join us. He's just saying "He's a good player, so we shouldn't stand idly by and watch another another team get him without trying". Your complaint is valid in some senses, particularly on internet forums. Not in this case, though. It's just a case of deciding to be offended by the wrong example of the right issue.

Still cannot believe that he has not been signed by United yet. We have a need for a right winger and a #10, if Mkhitaryan takes #10 which he really should, then that leaves the right wing open.

Would love to have home here.

I think a solid £50m would be a good price to get him for but it might take more.

We definitely need a right winger. The options we have there are awful frankly.

Mkhitaryan? Once Rooney's back in the team, Micki's getting shifted back onto the right for sure. If Rooney gets dropped we'll probably switch to a 4-3-3 assuming we sign Pogba, so there wouldn't be a real #10 anyway.

He will, but he is no where near the player we need in that position, neither is Lingard on the right.

This is true, but LVG and now Jose, don't see it that way.
These manager think that Rooney is a brilliant player, despite his lack of goals.

As the others said I didn't mean that in an arrogant way just saying that if he's on the move we will be mad to not put in a bid and try and hardest to get him here rather than Arsenal. I do however believe that we have a bigger pull than Arsenal, call that arrogant if you like but I think that's common sense. If however, Mahrez favours London then we won't have a great chance but as I first said we would be mad not to try and turn his head our direction. For what it's worth I think Mahrez will stay at Leicester this season anyway and that will allow a lot of clubs to see if he is better than just a one season wonder.

Mahrez would be a great addition to any EPL team. But I want him to stay one more year in Leicester. He will do well in the CL with all teams trying to attack Leicester which will give him a lot of space to exploit. It would be nice if they can qualify to the knockout phase.

 We're the most succesful club in England. What do you expect?

I really think we need a player like Mahrez or Draxler. We have Mata/Mkhitaryan who are creative no.10/false wingers.

Memphis, Young & Lingard are not good enough. We need someone like Martial pace who will take on his man. Just to have something different from Mata/Mkhitaryan. Someone who can run with the ball + end product.

The Right side is a concern. With no settled RB either.

Everything you say sounds right. But as long as Rooney is our No.10, we are not going to sign a winger. We can't buy 2 players for the same position. That is why I would want Mahrez to stay at Leicester for one more season. If it becomes evident to Jose that Rooney as No.10 won't work, we might go in for Mahrez next season.

Hoping Wayne gets slowly fazed out by the likes of Ibra, mihki, Martial and rashford

Mahrez having a chat with Arsenal players before the game in LA.

Ranieri says he's 100% going to stay.

(Wenger would never bid enough money).

I believe Arsenal should go after him moreso than they should go after Lacazette. No doubt that Giroud is inconsistent, but he is good enough to provide support to the players behind him and Lacazette is not that much of an improvement.

More I see of Mkhi Targ, more I think we need a proper out and out winger on the right. He doesn't seem a player we should have brought if we are planning to use him out wide.

Agreed^

Mkhi as CAM with Martial and Mahrez on the flanks would be unreal. Only problem is that Jose will need to find a way to bench Rooney peacefully if Zlatan is up front.

It would also likelymean Mata being sold and despite liking him, Mahrez would offer more to our side so I would certainly be willing to advocate this.

The depth in our attack would be amazing and Bayern/Madrid like in bench quality.

First team attack:
Mahrez---Mkhi---Martial
--------------Zlatan--------------

Second team attack
Rashford---Mata---Memphis
-----------------Rooney---------------

Some guy on twitter has a pic of Mahrez in Chelsea harbour hotel from today, and posted a pic of himself sitting at a table with Conte in Chelsea harbour. (i have been to Chelsea harbout hotel and the pic is definitely the lobby, 100%) Conte and Mahrez in same vicinity will set tongues wagging, but i suspect its all innocent

Don't understand why Arsenal want him. Exactly the kind of player they don't need.

Imagine Hazard & Mahrez in one team. This is too good to be true.

Still would be wary on signing him.

Might have been a year where everything clicked and he just peaked. It's happened a lot of times.

Not saying he isn't talented, but would doubt he has a season again like the last.

I think you're right and think thats why he's still at Leicester for the time being.

If he was as good as we think he is then clubs would have no problem paying the 40 Million it would probably take to get him IMO.
