Renato Sanches | Loaned to Swansea

I think Bayern view a loan a bit differently than some on here. Their idea would be to park him, eg, until Vidal shows signs of declining and then take him back, not give another club a risk free option.

No big team will loan him without inserting a buy option at the end of the season. If we loan him, we will have an option to buy him for 40m. Hypothetically, he could score 15 goals and assist 15 more. But Bayern wont have the option to increase the buying price because the price is set at 40m.

He seems quite raw, doesn't he - obviously because he's so young.

The amount of time he'd take developing, adapting to the league, the country, the club - you might as well play Pereira (it would be far less costly).

That sounds like a good deal even though he Is very likely to be Anderson mark II

We will buy a DM and a winger, we arent interested in him
Even though Mourinho praised him very highly and even claimed he would have signed him it wasn't for LVG? There might be a chance I think we considering him. Maybe we'll get both a dm and himself.

Sometimes you just have to be proactive for the future. A loan deal ain't that bad.

If it's a success a pogba sanches and a DM could be good option as a mid pairing with great passing ranges.

Literally all of the rumours say Bayern are happy to get rid of him (because he's crap) whether that's a sale or a loan to buy. They paid €35m rising to €80m with bonuses. That's the reason they want him gone, he's not a €35m player never mind an €80m player.

He wouldn't displace Pogba or Herrera. Felliani has played up to his Everton heights for United and that's good enough for Jose, so he's earned his squad rotation spot. If United get Matic or said central midfield player, Sanches will be in the same spot as he is now at Bayern, but with United.

Pogba and Herrera - first choice, 100 percent
Pogba/Herrera/Matic(?) - first choice in a midfield three, 100 percent
Pereira, Carrick, Felliani, Sanches - all part-time players and will fill in when/if there's an injury or for rotation

I think that they want to sell him
Rummenigge has said: "He won't get enough minutes at Bayern, so we're willing to negotiate a loan deal & maybe beyond that"
and "We’ll say that it wouldn’t be bad if a €48m offer came in for him"

No club will offer £ 43 mln for him, but a loan (for € 5-6 mln) + option right for the definitive acquisition (€ 35-40 mln) wouldn't be a bad idea for both clubs..

If his agent is Mendes then i can assure you he won't be coming to United.

Then it was a silly move in buying him wasn't it if that's the case. Sanches could of been a starter here at United for an entire season already, Bayern just wasted a year of the young man's career.

I don't think we would have bought Tolisso, if Sanches would have met/exceeded expectations last year.

Sanches is still quite young and a raw talent what exactly did you guys expect from him?

Oh well at least Sanches will know he made the wrong choice and has looking to go elsewhere to continue his development.

A slightly better highlights reel.

He does the Rooney right wing floaty pass very well. Tony V needs these.

But seriously, that's a much better video and I still think we could find room for him as a sub in big games and a frequent rotational player. Is good at transitioning forward and harrying/blocking off opposition.

I think we should steer clear. We have enough projects currently with the likes Perriera, Rashford, Axel, TFM and Mitchell. All look like they have their heads screwed on and can make the step up. Plus we have the slightly older Martial and Shaw.

Just focus on getting a bona fide midfielder to compliment Herrera and Pogba, someone who is ready to step up to the plate now. If Sanches is incredible in five years time, just pay the money and bring him in. Can't see it personally, he should have shone more at Bayern.

I watched him live during the Bayern vs Chelsea in Singapore yesterday and he was decent. Nothing fancy, just kept things nice and tidy in his holding role. There were one or two moments where he demonstrated his ability to get away from his presser and his strength but overall it was mostly just to keep things ticking over.

At least our Bebe only cost us 7.4m...

I was always so keen on Sanchez, but there must be something a bit off if Bayern are trying to get rid of him. If he just needed to get gametime, I'm sure he'd loan the guy to another BuLi club.

He'll probably go to Milan on loan for one year. That will be the most sensible transfer for him.

There's a lot of noise around his supposed unwillingness to integrate himself properly. Talk about him skiving off his German lessons when he even doesn't speak English, and similar things, which "supposedly" have cost him some goodwill from our higher ups. It's probably better taken with a grain of salt, but usually our board doesn't seem to give up easily on a young prospect after just one season, so these reports may indeed bear some merit.

Have we ever bought anyone from Bayern and it turned out well.

Owen Hargreaves was pretty decent overall. Class player when fit and was a vital part of the squad that won the champions league. Too bad he was injured a lot though.

That itk might work better if Mendes wasn't Jose's agent

Off to Milan apparently no surprise we were never in for him and he isn't what we need anyway

Yep apparantley he has a beef with Woody.

Has this suggestion appeared anywhere other than in the minds of some cafe members. This is the only place I've heard this theory peddled.

A combination of not buying a Mendes client for a couple of years, De Gea Madrid move breaking down, plus signing a few Raiola clients seems to have created this narrative.

Theres also the rumour that clubs don't want to deal with Mendes as a result of the dodgy tax issues affecting some of his clients in Spain.

Gutted we missed out on him. We are short of players in the CM area and 35m for a promising young player in this crazy transfer climate is hard to swallow

I was wondering the same

There's a level of rawness to his game that I would be very excited to see here.

Would love him at the club.

I can imagine him playing in 433 with our talented youngsters Pereira, Fosu-Mensah, Martial, Rashford etc.

TFM
...Pereira...........Sanches
...RW............................................Martial
Rashford
