Of course we never know until the club comes out and says so, the above have been widely reported by almost every outlet, we have heard of bids rejected etc. I genuinely believe we wanted morata, and did put work into the deal. we obviously walked away when madrid were being unreasonable/learnt that we could get Lukaku.
Has just done really well v Chelsea (apparently), so perhaps not going anywhere soon.
So has Muller just in time for the next lot of links to everyone.

It is less silly then you think. Anderson had great talent but he lack attitude and was unfortunate with injuries. With a bit of luck and a lot of hard work he could have developed into a Seedorf type of player.
Young players are volatile. Sanches can either develop in a top player or his career can go to the shitters just like Ando’s. Bayern know their stuff about players so I would stir away from him if possible. There again Mou know the Portuguese league well, so that gives us reassurances. In my opinion, we can minimise our risks by signing him up on loan with a right to buy fee at the end of such loan.

He's a midfielder and I watched the game and he really stood out from everyone and completely dominated the in the central midfield nobody in Chelsea's midfield could deal with him.Is he a winger or midfielder.

We are a tad short in CM Renato Sanches would fit nicely alongside Herrera and Pogba so if Bayern want to get rid even on a loan basis I'd take him.
Said after the match that he wants to go to Milan.
I don't see how we could miss out on a loan with an option to buy (say 30-35m) gives him a year to settle, show what he can do, then if I pressed we get him, if not, send him back.
40m for him is a no brainer given some of the prices these days. Could even be a bargain

I think there is talent there to make a good player out of him. It's a steep price at this stage but if he did well then it'd be a cheap price to pay when you consider what average players like Sigurdsson are going for.

I would happily have him here, genuinely think he is dynamic enough to play alongside Pog/Herrera and negate need for a specialized DM.

Mourinho confirmed he likes him a lot not so long ago, why are we not in for him? This deal sounds almost too good to be true. Potentially he could still turn out to be fantastic in a few years, very surprised Bayern are allowing him to go after just one year. We clearly need more depth in midfield.

The very good reason is he has the likes of Vidal, Thiago, Kimmich and others ahead of him and isn't likely to get much playing time there.

Well, because Bayern's midfield is packed with quality right now. There is a need here for 3rd midfielder in 4-3-3 and Jose seems to like Perreira for CM spot. So if Sanchez is in, loan with option to buy, he would have plenty of chances to show himself. If it works out, great.
I really hope Mourinho is considering him if we can't get Matic. To be honest, there would be no harm in signing both. Pereira will get plenty game time regardless. If Herrera- Pogba get injured we are proper fecked.

Well Kimmich will play as right fullback, but we also signed Tolisso (who is looking excellent so far!) and rumors are, that we already secured Goretzka for a free move next year.
James also doesn't help Sanches at all, because it means, that Thiago will most likely not play the 10 any time soon.
So behind Müller/James we have Thiago, Vidal, Tolisso, Sanches and Rudy. Thiago will be a guaranteed starter, which leaves Sanches with the task to beat Vidal, Tolisso and Rudy for the last spot in midfield. Its quite a shame, because i think that Sanches will develop into a great player, but he probably does not have a future at Bayern. Especially not, if we really buy Goretzka additionally next year.
How is Kimmich getting on at Bayern? He looked ridiculously promising at the Euros but admittedly I haven't watched Bayern all that much last season.

Yep, I've been a bit simplistic. Granted Bayern are well stocked in that area, he only got 4 starts and completed 90 mins once... no goals or assists, but he did feature in 25 games across all comps... so he did have some chances, though admittedly nothing regular and at a new league/club/level.
The people ahead of him show why he wants to leave but I suppose the point I was making is there would have to be a big question mark about why it's gone so poorly for him at Bayern.
I still think he's shown enough in his entire career to warrant a punt, even at 40mill. Not succeeding in a brilliant Bayern team in one year is far from the kiss of death.
Can he play as a DM or is he an all action box to box type that allows him to utilise his skills? I really hope Jose goes for him as a Plan B for Matic
Last season Ancelotti didn't seem to like him very much in CM, so Kimmichs last season was quite a step back compared to his role under Pep, where he played CM or CB. But Ancelotti, Rummenigge and Hoeneß already promised him, that he will be the "new Lahm", although Kimmich hasn't really played as right fullback for Bayern, only for the national team. But he looked great there and Kimmich is a player that wants to give everything and become better every day. Give him 2 or 3 years and he will be a worthy successor to Lahm i think.
With him, Herrera has to play a DM role.

Then it was a silly move in buying him wasn't it if that's the case. Sanches could of been a starter here at United for an entire season already, Bayern just wasted a year of the young man's career.
