Do Bayern ever get it wrong when selling players, even more so with youth? I can't think of one that jumps out. If Bayern don't want him isn't that a red light we should be concerned about?
There is nothing that guarantees that would happen.Don't need him now one bit, In 3-4 years angel gomes will be better than him .

Don't mind a punt on him if he's available for 35m euros. Question is where he is going to play often with Ander and Pogba in the midfield? He's not a DM but more of a box to box midfielder i think

He is having eye catching performances in the youth team just like pogba used to.
Sounds like he may be leaving for Juve then.
So? that does not guarantee anything in the future, particularly if he does not get the quality minutes required to developHe is having eye catching performances in the youth team just like pogba used to.

When I wrote second tier I was thinking 'anything outside Bayern, Real, Barca, PL top 6' - so there would be plenty of good clubs left with a lot less stiff competition for the spots in the lineup. You think he'd rather go on loan to a second tier club than just move to a proper one? I mean, he was top dog at Benfica and played in the European final and won. Can't see him be willing to do that just to maybe make it at Bayern.
Mistake yes, but Kroos wanted to leave. A bit different situation than them selling a player they thought wouldn't make it.They sold Hummels and kroos
Kroos?

Nothing is guaranteed but it's likely and doesnt matter; completely different players. Renato Sanches is a box - to - box whilst Angel Gomes plays at 10, on the wing or as a playmaker in 8 (in a three mans midfield). Whilst Renato is all about his physique, power and running power Angel Gomes is a technical dribbler, passer with creativity and playmaking. They wouldnt exclude each other in any sense. There is nothing that guarantees that would happen.
Kroos dint suit pep philosophy. He aint a midfeilder who isused to pass sideways and backwards.

Regardless of what you think of Renato's mentality, he is currently the better player and there is nothing that guarantees that Gomes will be better than him at any point in time.Depends on his mentality, physical development. Renato's mentality is not one of the best out there
Any decision being made on Sanches should be with consideration of similar alternatives and not premised on a 16yr old, with only a single senior game under his belt, coming good on his potential
That is valid, though I have not been as impressed with Peirera as others seem to have been.Alternatives include loanee return who had a very good loan spell andreas peierera.

Because I don't believe any of the top clubs would really be open to him right now, not after his debut season at Bayern.Even so. If he's already been top dog at a good European club, why go out on loan. Why not just move to another club?

Sanches does remind me of Davids. He's very strong and hardworking + he seem to have moved to a big club too early in his career. Should we sign him up? That's difficult to say. After what happened with Bastian and Hargreaves I'd be careful buying players from Bayern
Or we could just sign him and hope he turns in to a worldie in that 3 or 4 years,Don't need him now one bit, In 3-4 years angel gomes will be better than him .
Kroos didn't want to leave. Kroos, or his agent, even approached the club for an extension. It was only when the club tried to lowball him and treated him like some meaningless rotational player that he decided to leave the club. Which in itself is quite stupid from the club. When you consider that Pep planned for Kroos to anchor his team for years and be the key element to a new Bayern team it becomes even more stupid.Mistake yes, but Kroos wanted to leave. A bit different situation than them selling a player they thought wouldn't make it.
Are you expecting Angel Gomes to be a box-to-box? Otherwise, I don't see the connection. Also, Renato Sanches already won Benfica one Portuguese league and Portugal a Euro, no comparison there too.Don't need him now one bit, In 3-4 years angel gomes will be better than him .
