Seriously, why does it matter what gender the lead character is anyway. Doesnt change anything about how the game will actually be played. Such a weird point these few people are banging on about.

I could if you really wanted but I posted a review that said the game had bad controls and wasn't the best at some story aspects and you then went on a SJW/gamer gate conspiracy and went through my post history to try and find a ''ultra agenda''.
If I point out that the video game series you seem have a very close bond with(Slightly too close in my view) is actual nothing more than long series of nostalgic references to old movies. Then I'm slightly worried you might respond by smearing yourself in shit and finding my home address.
I've vastly underestimated the attachment adult men have towards video games.
Installing now. Not home from work until after 7 tomorrow. Going to go straight to sleep tomorrow night so I can wake up at 5am on sat and put in 12-15 hours of game time during Saturday and catch the football as well. Buzzing for this.

I need to get a new tv before I upgrade to the X. But I've been playing through red dead 1 through backwards compatability this week and for an 8 year old game it is simply stunning graphically. I'm sure red dead 2 is going to look amazing

I think this is going to be another brilliant game. The last few years have been insanely good for a gamer.

Whether or not this is true, the bloke you are quoting has shown a distinct lack of class/insight in any of his previous posts. He came in with an agenda - it's not really about the game. I don't even own the game, didn't play so much as a second of the first Red Dead, yet I still find his posts incredibly objectionable.
What agenda ? He's not a big fan of Rockstar games, seemingly? Is that a crime? It's the opposite extreme to those giddy about everything they do isn't it?

Read his posts first. He claims somehow the story would be better if a women was involved which quite frankly is moronic. All the male characters rockstar produce are the same which is bullshit too. A shit story could have man or women. Latest tomb raider proved that.
He then decides to quote the one bad review out of 90 as some kind of justification that he was right about the story. Then tries to belittle anyone who responds to him or throws the smilie to show how intelligent he is.
If I wasn’t a fan of previous rockstar games the last thing I would do is post in another rockstar thread about their upcoming game. Rockstar have a forumula that works for them, if it ain’t for you then it ain’t for you. You are a PES fan. Do you post in the fifa thread?

Struggling to get my head around keeping health, stamina, dead eye up, as well my horse's health and stamina, and keeping the camp's supplies up as well. Don't really know what I need to be doing for the camp side of it especially. But then it still feels like I've barely got going even though I'm 4 and a half hours in.

To those who have already got their hands on it and after you’ve had some proper time with it - how does it compare to the first one?
Takes a while to get going. But once you set up your first camp it’s a lot similar. A lot of stuff to do like bounty hunting and hunting. So I’m trying to do the side quests rather than straight to main missions.
Coming into a thread spouting questionable opinions stemming from a shitty source with a well-established history of bias seems like an agenda to me, as does incessantly banging on about one topic for an extended period.
