To be fair, he could've been a great rhotic passer had he been born in Dublin.Jesus, that's one of the all-time greats. I don't think I've ever read such a load of pretentious bollocks in my life. And all about Jordan Henderson!
'Glottal stop'? What? The second half sounds like Kevin McCarra on a bad day after being smacked round the head with a brick.
I want city to win to keep the title race hot but I want Liverpool to win to crank up the pressure for 4th, maybe higher.
Kind of torn over this fixture as we are out of the league so this game is not so important for us and to be honest a win would help City to stop Man Utd.
First preference is obviously a win but if not I would rather City win over a draw.
A draw would end our slim chances of top 4 and it would also give United the title.
I'm sure at the end of the season you'll be enjoying that 1 point that does nothing for us while United win the league by under 2 points.
Calm down. I don't see whats wrong with not wanting a draw? It does nobody any good really. To get 4th a win is nearly a must imo. Don't get me wrong, I'll still be supporting us to win throughout, but what I'm saying is secretly I would be a little dissapointed that we were a major part in the mancs winning the league. Although I suppose they will probably win it regardess.
He didn't do bad against Arsenal
He was up against Santos
What did I say about Sturridge? He will go on to be a 20+ goals a season striker for Liverpool.
Terrible decision to sell him and keep Torres.
Abramovic loves Torres more than RAWK did when he was at Liverpool. You are stuck with him. That's the price of having a wealthy owner. Quit whining or start the Abramovich out campaign.
I completely agree. But surely even Abramovich can see that Torres is a busted flush. Shevchenko (his last indulgence signing) wasn't persevered with this long.
I know - I don't understand it either but get used to it. He is clearly getting more and more involved in how to run the club - he clearly doesn't care about the fans.
I would fell for the Chelsea fans, but since they welcomed him, they can suffer now.
For those that never wanted him - I do feel bad.
Reina is getting slaughtered. They want him sold.

We played brilliant yes, we should have won. But I don't blame Reina for that goal, the manager made the changes and that helped Reina in making a decision to go awol.
He was a "busted flush", a long time before he went to Chelsea. Of course, Roman thinks throwing money at a problem can make it go away. As one poster quite rightly put it, you were happy to welcome Roman and his billions, now you have to suffer because of the decisions he makes. I feel sorry for the genuine supporters who didn't want Roman.
As good as Rafa was, I don't think we played the type of football under him that we are now playing under BR. We absolutely dominated the ball in large spells of the game and looked like Liverpool of the 80's. Pass and move looks like it is coming back. Yes, we have defensive frailties and it is a concern but we can work on that. But, I believe in the type of football we are trying to play - you get to the very top if you can play this way. We looked like FC Barcelona today during large spells of the game. Superb performance from everyone. The future is bright.
It's not Lucas's fault if the manager sets the system up to need him as the messiah. The Judaeo-Christian system is as flawed as the Dalglish-Rodgers system. I tend towards a more socialist outlook of sharing the workload.
Good to see a draw with a weakened City team hasn't affected them and they still have their feet on the ground. So humble and dignified, with such humility...
what type of football?
they still hoof it whenever they can...
How good is Jordan Henderson?
Outstanding, touch, work rate, passing and vision.
Expect Coutinho to get a run in Downing's place eventually.
We're going to be deadly on the break. DEADLY.
