RAWK Goes Into Meltdown (2011/2012)

I like that a few of them are going 'oh look this is all bent, the FA is pressing the charge of Evra with them on his side what chance did we have in this corrupt system?'

Bunch of fecking morons over there.

Did you see that one of them has written to John Henry offering him his legal advice... as a building surveyor?

It's all happened because of this:

As RAWK's plastered said:

this is a sample of proof why dictatorship works, we live under dictatorship no democracy its were just dictated to in a very clever fashion, from polotics and governmant right down through every system including employment and the FA etc wherever there is a governing body you will also find corruption and dictatorship

We're all obeying an authority figure who instructed us to perform acts that conflicted with our personal conscience.

The only people not doing it are members on RAWK, except the ones who have been banned for not agreeing with the authorities on the site.

Don't knock him mate, he's got a lot of experience. I hope John Henry hires him to represent Suarez in a civil case of libel against Evra, he seems well versed in the field despite not having the qualifications. Good luck to him I say and well done for taking the initiative as I am sure John Henry is floundering for things to do given that he's American and has very little knowledge of the British civil and criminal judiciary systems.

I absolutely love how they gloss over the fact they are all backing a racist act by trying to focus on the foul

So it's Mr Evra's fault he was fouled and then his fault he was racially abused? Ban him!

It's also really funny how everyone who has read the report, other than the nutters on there (which I doubt many have actually read it fully anyway), are saying it'll be disasterous for Liverpool to appeal. But hey, everyone on the planet hates Liverpool and wants to see them fail. Funny we would all go to that effort since they've been doing a pretty good job of it on their own for 20-odd years

I love how they're going for this new angle that the original foul wasn't a foul, therefore Evra is unreliable and his questioning of Suarez about the foul was illegitimate.

They've scoured the report, realised it's pretty water-tight and damning, and are now trying to scream mistrial based on a poor-angled youtube video of the original foul.

Mockney's closed another of their gap theorys with the better video above, so they'll move onto something else now. Maybe the font type of the report or something - apparently it's very manc looking font.

Apparently the linguistic experts were from University of Manchester and that's why they were bound to be baised!

Huh? Everyone knows that there aren't any United fans in Manchester.

Such a frenzy over there. They remind me of Meddlesome Ratbag from Viz. A bunch of gossiping old women who stand with their arms folded, tutting at everyone and everything that doesnt fit their narrow world view. The type of people who couldn't wait to tell your mother you'd done something wrong.

Why dont they accept the charge and move on. Just because the case was brought up by us, they are making a meal of it (the fans atleast anyways). They could have had him back in time for their Europa Legue qualification run in in the last handful of games.

The report is heavily detailed, with people coming in from outside both clubs and all. I really cant see how they can go around appealing it, or what they can call "shennigans" on in the report. Just wasting everyones time, and in a nut shell condoning racism.

Because then they would have to punish him themselves (or be seen as even bigger scumbags than they already are), which might upset poor Luis and make him want to leave the club.

Not really. He "got what he deserved" from the FA if they wanted to go down that line. I know the right thing to do woud be to accept it, fine him a weeks wages, or send his weeks wages to a charity/community group that he would also do a few hours for, the usual PR stunts  Kennys figthing spirit in his tweets will come back to haunt him that way then though.

Really they handled this as badly as possible.

Sounds perfectly reasonable tbf. Whenever I find myself in some kind of legal situation, I always bypass the know-nothing plebs in the solicitors offices and head off down to the building site, where I find the advice to be unparalleled in its sagacity.

You'd have to feel sorry for the more reasonable, level-headed Liverpool fans.

They must be mortified by this shit.

The fact that they have supported him to the hilt means they have no option, in my opinion. He has obviously lied repeatedly to his employer about a very serious allegation, and now the entire club look like fecking idiots in the eyes of the world. How can they not punish him?

Either way, I am enjoying this a great deal

Good point. They have shit all over their faces now. They should have kept their trap shut until the report had their findings. Very amatuerish on their part and as a club they deserve the trashing they are, and will be getting. Even Chelsea have kept reasonably quiet with regards to "Big-Man" ffs.

Dear Mr Henry,

I've been unemployed all my working life but during that time I have watched several episodes of Perry Mason and many TV commercials for no-win-no-fee accident lawyers. I once started watching Twelve Angry Men but after spending fifteen minutes trying to adjust my telly to no avail I discovered it was in black and white so I switched it off...

Too professional.
After all, part of Liverpool's legal team was a man who perjured himself the last time he fronted a big case.

Yet another game decided by a referee. Lampard should not be on the field of play.

How many games is that this season?

Ho hum. Best league in the world my arse.

They constantly bash the Premier League at RAWK - have they watched footy from other leagues though? There's no corruption in other leagues, OOOOH NOOOO.

*whispers* Serie A

Maybe he could start by telling him that there is no British judicial system.

The best thing for them to have done really was to say: "We will give our full support to Mr Suarez throughout the disciplinary procedure. Mr Suarez has assured us of his innocence and we look forward to the opportunity to clear his name."

They should have just left it at that, not throw around accusations at Evra and make ridiculous public defences like "he was friends with a black man once". Their general demeanor and reaction to the decision show an institution with a lack of class. The way the players wore those shirts before a match really leaves a sour taste in the mouth. When the decision was made public they should have simply said that "Liverpool FC are waiting to receive the reasons from the Regulatory Commission and at that point we will make a decision whether to appeal or not".

It just looks like Liverpool FC are prepared to turn a blind eye to racism if a player is important to the team.

Dear Mr. Henry,

Don't you worry, I watched Matlock in a bar last night, the sound wasn't on but I think I got the gist of it.

They have become a joke of a club

Ah well, at least they have their history

Instead of being widely known as a has-been club riddled with self-pity and underachievement, they're now widely known as a racist has-been club riddled with self-pity and underachievement

 Just imagine how brilliant it would be if Liverpool left their appeals process up to some joiners and quantity surveyors off RAWK. I'd love to see it, just to watch their bravado at how they're going to tear it to pieces slowly slowly eb away as they get told they know absolutely nothing about the law, are haggling over irrelevant topics and don't have a leg to stand on. And then watch them get angrier and angrier and more and more perplexed as to why no one else is seeing this obvious conspiracy. Before snapping and telling everyone in the court to feck off and do one.

Imagine being John Henry's PA, or any other important figure at Liverpool, and getting all of these pathetic, over dramatic pseudo poetic self important letters from liverpool fans.. every fecking day! It'd be a nightmare.

So far I've seen them argue in minute and excruciating detail the foul - as seen unfavourably from one angle on a camera in the crowd (water tight!) - which from other angles proves unfounded anyway, the early accusation of the word "Nigger", which was a misunderstanding, admitted by Evra and not what Suarez was charged with or accused of during the trial at any point (and thus, completely irrelevant) and various complete misreadings of the report, which they've imagined as contradictions or irregularities such is their complete and devout desire to read it favourably.

RAWKaloid
his is the good thing about this site. We have some really knowlegdeable posters, who writes pieces worth reading. Both the OP and Jack's piece shows us the blatant injustice Luis has suffered. I really don't understand why we wouldn't want to fight this. Without reading the entire thing, it's for me obvious that the sentence is biased at best, right out racist at worst.
From what little fact we know we can say that both PE and LS said stuff they probably could be punished for, and both said stuff that out of context may be considered racist. Being black doesn't mean you can't be racist, infact that's kind of my point; charging LS whitout charging PE is in itself racist, seeing as both is claimed to have made derogatory comments about color and/or origin.

[facepalm]

It's like anyone with any sense have abandoned ship and left the delirious scurvy ridden idiots to ramble amongst themselves. Or that stupid rocket to the sun in The Simpsons.

Fair play to their mod/admin/whoever though. It does look like the penny is dropping.

I am not going to pick out specific posts, but there are far too many posts on here that are embarrassing to the posters and by extension, to the site.

Locked.

The issue is bigger than rivalries and far too complex for some of the people who insist on expressing their opinion on it. Empty vessels do indeed make the most noise.

The wisest posters on here have been the ones who are unsure and uneasy, clearly that is not an easy position to take and they have taken a lot of flak for it. It's got to stop quite frankly.
