RAWK Goes Into Meltdown (2011/2012)

Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has today issued the following apology:

"I have spoken with the Manager since the game at Old Trafford and I realise I got things wrong.

"I've not only let him down, but also the Club and what it stands for and I'm sorry. I made a mistake and I regret what happened.

"I should have shaken Patrice Evra's hand before the game and I want to apologise for my actions.

"I would like to put this whole issue behind me and concentrate on playing football."

Choke on that, idiot assholes.

Get this over to RAWK.

"Nothing to apologise in my opinion Luis lad"

"To tell you the truth it'd starting to piss me off how many more times do we have to grovel to the media and Mr Alex Ferguson."

"That's our club fecked then. We now have owners that prefer PR to everything else. Should have expected it.

Might as well go to the media and own up for everything bad that's happened in the world for the last 50 years."

The last one is my favourite, turning on the owners now

Suarez has apologised for it, but but it was Evra who moved his hand away :lol:

Invite the whole press to a public handshake between Suarez and Evra, invite Evra to Anfield for the handshake. The ball is in their court. Although I can imagine the reaction from the alco and the media to us trying to do that.

:lol: fecking hell. Just posted this in the other thread. Oh scousers, so fecking predictable. Funny nevertheless.

Meh, LFC fans will now spin this into something like 'the owners forced him to do so to protect their own interests, he's still innocent, shame an innocent man has to go through this', blah, blah, typical LFC victims of conspiracy crap really.

They're actually criticising the club for apologising, Suarez > LFC fact!!

After that statement LFC is done. We are going to be midtable at best now. We're done. We'll spend the rest of our existence grovelling and begging at the table of the FA and Manchester United. fecking disgusting.

we have become a mess lately. Bend over and take it up the arse. What about that prick evra the club should have slaughtered him for his carry on yesterday..

If this is the last word we here from all parties involved we have truly been screwed. Unless I see clear evidence that Suarez was racist and deserved the ban I will not except the victimization of Evra. Either Mr Ferguson or Evra need to make a statement about them being sorry for this all getting out of control or they will have won once again...not only on the pitch but also off it. feck this shit.

That one is especially baffling

This mean we'll be getting an apology from Ferdinand for not shaking Luis' hand?
Or from the drunken fecktard for his comments post-game?
Or from Evra for his behaviour?
No chance

This might've been an attempt from the club to draw a line under all this crap... but that line will be erased by the media going on about it for donkeys...
So, in the end, all I'm left with is this niggling feeling they've let Luis down with choosing PR instead of fighting.
Never thought I'd see the day when we bent over completely to the drunken tramp and his cronies.
Disappointed

Liverpool Managing Director Ian Ayre has today released the following statement.

"We are extremely disappointed Luis Suarez did not shake hands with Patrice Evra before yesterday's game. The player had told us beforehand that he would, but then chose not to do so.

"He was wrong to mislead us and wrong not to offer his hand to Patrice Evra. He has not only let himself down, but also Kenny Dalglish, his teammates and the Club. It has been made absolutely clear to Luis Suarez that his behaviour was not acceptable.

"Luis Suarez has now apologised for his actions which was the right thing to do. However, all of us have a duty to behave in a responsible manner and we hope that he now understands what is expected of anyone representing Liverpool Football Club."

But the stills, THE STILLS!!

 well at least they're finally condemning the behavior of their club

That one is especially baffling

Yep. Why do we need to apologise for this 'getting out of control'? Up until yesterday we have been silent on the matter whereas Liverpool have been the opposite. There's only one party which has needed to apologise and it's certainly not us.

Just off over to RAWK to see all the apologies from those who said it was the other way round.

And I expect Kenny will be issuing one too.

I'm never sure if some of the posts on RAWK are simply parody/sarcastic posts and examples of this 'incredible scouse humour' I keep hearing about. Or if there are actually people that deluded and insane.

I'm ashamed of my club today.

Ah good ol' Andy:

LFC have confirmed everything that every media source has said about us all for the last four months.

You and I officially are scum. The players are scum. The club is scum. The manger is scum. Suarez is scum.

If you think anything else then you are deluded. Every story from now on will be along the lines of "Liverpool admit to everything we've said" - we as a club will have to grovel and admit anything and everything thrown at us. We have thrown away any chance of defending ourselves.

None of us can even argue about anything. Every conversation will end with "Yeah - you are all scum and Suarez admitted you all are."

It's even started already if you read some media sources already. By tomorrow the shite this club has got off the media will pale to what's coming. But now we've confirmed it all so they can really go overboard. Because we've admitted every little thing they say about us.

606 and Talksport tonight are gonna be INSANE.

The replies to Phil Mcnultys report on the incident yesterday has some RAWK worthy replies from some Liverpool fans trying to blame Evra for everything and even after the apology has been posted in the replies to the article they are still trying to blame anyone bar Suarez.

BBC - Phil McNulty: Suarez misses chance to move on
