Wow. I never actually read RAWK, only the posts posted here, and I always assume that there are some intelligent creatures there as well, but only two of the first 40 posts in that thread are sane. Wow.

And I expect Kenny will be issuing one too.
Mr. Ayre, I would have expected a little further explanation than just this. You could have attempted to perhaps qualify why Suarez decided not to. Perhaps to say his feelings were still very hurt as he believes he was wronged.
feck off you arse - support Luis not make him apologise
The fans are with Luis
Stuck between a rock and a hard place.
He could have pointed out that he attempted to shake Evra's hand but the media would have a field day so he has to issue another grovelling apology.
I feel sorry for him having to swallow his pride yet again for the sake of public perception and pr.
This has been handled badly from top to bottom. The FA and PFA haven't done anything to sort this situation out as soon as they could. The timing of everything they did in the process was nothing short of shameful. There was no way they were going to make this easy for the club. The club and Luis were hung out to dry as soon as the first rumours of unsavoury comments were made. Once the press and media had their agendas set, there was no way we'd come out of this in a good light.
I'm sure that Gordon Taylor and Mr Alex Ferguson are rubbing their hands with glee right now. They're little plan has come together nicely.
You can see the grin on that bug eyed twat evra from here.
The prick has been milking this from day one.
Awful awful people at that club.

he told the manager he was going to shake evra's hand, evra made it as difficult as he could but he still should have shaken it - it was a spur of the moment thing from him I'm sure but he got it wrong.
so he's apologised to Kenny and the club and he should - its not about the farce of a case brought against him but the fact he said he would shake and he didn't - by doing that he let down Kenny and the club
when Evra dropped his hand - Luis could have extended his - he could have, he didn't - all fired up as he was its no surprise he would make the wrong call - I wouldn't have wanted to shake Evra's hand either and before the game if he'd said I wont shake then that would have been fine with me - he would either not have started or there'd have been no ceremony.
its not about the media witch hunt or taking it up the ass - its about a player not doing what he's told his manager he would do.
When Ian Ayre said that, what was he talking about?
Manchester United being the best club?
Taking Liverpool off their fecking perch?
the Suarez being a racist pig?
i tell you, Ayre should be more specific there
Apparently now Evra MUST come out with a statement accepting his apology.

Well I'm quite proud to say that when I initially thought it was Evra who refused, I was not impressed with him. So that proves that I'm no hypocrite.

They appear to have deleted the thread now!
Comedy gold.
Thread deleted
all true of course. But I think he meant Suarez should not play for Liverpool again?
Even though Suarez still hasn't apologised to him. That makes sense.
*Suarez apologises to club*
Evra: I accept Suarez's apology to Liverpool football club.

mbuahahaha
that would be lovely
right!
Are they Liverpool fans or Suarez fans? Abandoning their own football club who did the decent thing, instead to jump to the support of one player. Sometimes there are no words.
rawk gimp:
But this? "He was wrong to mislead us and wrong not to offer his hand to Patrice Evra" Suarez did have his hand open and his arm extended. What he does wrong is not stopping and waiting for Evra to raise his hand - Suarez did offer his hand, he just didn't wait.
