RIP Lucas
My favourite stat from LFC's website about 'Lucas' career in numbers'.''30 - Lucas holds the record for most consecutive league appearances in the No.21 shirt.''
Such underwhelming stats. My favourite stat from LFC's website about 'Lucas' career in numbers'.
Not one stat that reflects his contribution in midfield lmao

Quite, what a load of rubbishSuch underwhelming stats.
While this looks funny, I bet we've had players with similar amount of games and similar goals.Quite, what a load of rubbish
7 goals, count them, 7!
This thread is for laughing at the scousers. Feck off with your reasoned debate. xoWhile this looks funny, I bet we've had players with similar amount of games and similar goals.
But we don't fecking memorialize them...While this looks funny, I bet we've had players with similar amount of games and similar goals.
Here's one. Since Lucas picked up his League Cup medal by beating Cardiff...Such underwhelming stats.

200 - When scoring at Plymouth Argyle in the FA Cup in January, Lucas ended a drought of 200 games for the club without finding the net.
Yeah I thought exactly the same!Anyone read their Everton thread? The lack of self-awareness is astounding.
1 - His only league goal for the Reds came against Newcastle United at Anfield in May 2009.Such underwhelming stats.
Indeed, such a weird tribute by numbers.1 - His only league goal for the Reds came against Newcastle United at Anfield in May 2009.
It's like they wanted to troll him.
Why is it so wooden and unnatural? They sound like they're doing a post match interview. I'm sure there is good intentions behind this, but they should have done a video with individuals tributes from teammates featuring clips of Lucas's 'best' moments at Liverpool.Tweet

Not RAWK but dear god
He must've watched that video.Wait how did Lucas die???
He must've watched that video.
Bit too emotional this week to watch the vid but good luck lad!!
A giant amongst men. Our club will have a massive void to fill.
I wasn't going to get a top this year, but now am tempted to get a 21 with 'Ta Lad' on the back
There was a period of games, unfortunately ended due to an injury, where Lucas was absolutely world class in his position
Had two seasons where he was probably the best midfielder in the league.
Just like every other player at the club then.He is a top lad and will in my mind always be a legend. Sadly he never won anything major with us
The term legend is thrown around too easily, it fits Lucas comfortably
His departure for Lazio feels a bit like Stevie leaving for LA Galaxy
I sincerely hope he comes back in a different capacity in the future as I think he can offer the club a great deal.
And there goes the last of the old guard
Did he ever have a flag in his honour?
Well it's a good bloody job! When he said after hearing the Liverpool supporters at Wigan chanting his name and calling him a Scouser - that meant more to him than any medals.....
He's 5'10" for Pete's sake!They're insane!

What the actual feck.They're insane!

I was genuinely saddened that Bone Thugs allowed them to cover it.
This was shit at the time and its aged horribly.
and I love the Bone Thugs version btw.
StevieJ Lad, you are bringing tears to my eyes.Goodbye Lucas, our old friend
I guess this time it is the end
Your football was so very boring
It made us cry and left us snoring
And though the words of the scousers
Are scribbled on the RAWK lav walls
Yet you were balls
And still you haaaaaave...no medals.
