why should i be furious
Honestly because you and a few others seem to have an irrational urge to get on his back. Disagreement is fine, but when you come in here to slag him off and sarcastically claiming some of us are delusional every damn game we didn’t play well and it’s evident he’s suffering because the team is suffering - then you begin to wonder what motivates you.

Unlucky not to have a hatrick with Garnacho popping the ball in after Hojlund's hard work pressing the keeper and being pulled down. Great finish for the first goal after the ball popped up nice for him, on his weaker foot. And slightly better holdup play, there were a couple of times he did the job when it was played up to him and he was able to find a teammate.

Much more of this please. He'll score goals if he plays but he did a bit more than that last night with his pressing for the first goal and half of his holdup play attempts

Thanks for remembering mate! Ive always wished he would prove me wrong and wish the best for the player but now we got to see this performances against the PL teams instead of the league's of Norway.

Again wish him well, but hopefully he can improve vs the teams like City, Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, Spurs atleast once in a whilst instead of scoring against Brentford, Luton town, Newport etc.

Hopefully Amorim can screw that into him.
He scored v Bayern, Spurs and Newcastle last season. It’s evident that when he gets chances he scores as a rule.

He's shown that he has good finishing abilities when he gets into right positions and gets the service, both of those elements have been lacking in his/the teams game so far. He doesn't quite have a natural strikers instincts in regards to runs and positioning but that can be worked on, as can the service. Drilling those elements should be the foundation of his play, in order to to get him scoring more consistently, then hopefully he can build more of his overall game in terms of hold-up and technical ability.

That left touch, right volley through the gap was a thing of beauty

Hopefully this is the start of him going on a run, like he did last year. Needs to start on Sunday.

I thought Zirkzee not getting any minutes tonight will become a regular thing. Unfortunately for the lad I think he just isn’t the of the required standard and is laid back approach won’t suit Amorim at all. Would be surprised if he isn’t back playing in Italy within a year, where he suits best.
I usually try giving one year without judgement to any new player. Think Onana recently showed some chaps have the ability to step up to the plate, and rise above difficulties.

That said, if Obi Martin's talent will explode sooner than later, Zirkzee's chances could be reduced to zero, but Hojlund should be on his toes too. Berrada's one decision to bring Amorim's choice of striker, and things will definitely get interesting.

United returning to having more than two strikers sounds exciting.

Good performance from Rasmus but it’s not entirely surprising as the team is looking more organised as an attacking unit. As Ruben increases his influence on the team Houjlund will flourish, he has all the attributes for it and his work rate is exactly what you want from your players.

He could really go on to a high level with the way we are looking to play and given he is still so young. With his high work rate he strikes me as the type of player that will want to improve all the time.

That first goal though… beautiful.

For two of the corners he lost his man. He has fake physicality in all honesty. He

Fought hard for the ball and thought he held it up well. We didn't create much, any striker would struggle.

 . You put Osimhen and Hojlund in same sentence?
The mighty striker who scored 0 goals in AFQON and plays for Galatasaray on loan because no other club wanted him. Stop pretending he is Luis Suarez. He is a good striker, nothing more.

Difficult to be too harsh on him when he was starved of service tonight.
I like him but tonight his lack of ability to hold and shield the ball was stark. Ball boucing off him most of the time. Even Havertz held the ball up better. Needs to improve.

What's with the no service excuses. Garnacho played through a killer cross and he was no near anticipating it. Has he even scored in the prem this season? He offered nothing tonight, it's all well and good scoring against farmers in europa but every good team we play he does and offers nothing.

I hope he comes good but I don't see it, hes a good finisher but his all round game is average and can't be relying on a one dimensional inconsistent average striker leading the line for us

He had a bad match, but damn defenders cam just do what they want to him. Kane would have had about 18 free kicks.

Where i said that? Stop doing that shit with making shit up.
I think that, in today's market, Osimhen is one of better strikers. And would be massive, massive, massive upgrade to All our strikers. But my no1 choice would be, without any question, Isak. Now, THAT guy is a monster.

He's rubbish. I really don't care what excuses people want to throw out. I've seen enough of him to know he'll never lead the line for a title winning team.

He does fecking nothing 90% of the time, and will only ever contribute anything against crap teams who we dominate, so basically we moaned about Lukaku and sold him only to end up with a worse version of him years later

You think forwards are just there to receive chances?

That is too often the narrative around Hojlund. Don't judge him unless he gets tap ins.

He had some reasonable moments winning a few free kicks backing in but his runs in behind were dealt with so easily.

Thought he was pretty good, a couple of loose touches here and there but mostly decent hold up play. It was always going to be difficult to create chances against Arsenal but it was disappointing seeing him starved again.

There was a dangerous ball into the 6 yard box by Garnacho where Hojlund yet again had some brain lag and stopped his run. He does this so often too.

Schmeichel and Staam annoyed at the United players for not being all over the ref after Timber pushed Højlund
