Fecking hell, first place!!
Does it also include our manager too? Considering he didn't want to work with him.Haters in the mud. He was just honest and "blunt". A lot of our fans don't wanna hear that why standards are slipping away.
I imagine the job he's done with Austria has wound up quite a few on here
I would sack our current manager after that Anfield game.Does it also include our manager too? Considering he didn't want to work with him.
Just you wait until Ashworth brings in some donkey this summer.I don’t get it. I was told by the armchair experts on here that he was the biggest fraud in the world a couple of years back.
Yeah Austrian pool is enormous, like Argentina and Brazil combinedGuess it's easier when a Manager gets to pick from all the players in a giant national pool to fit his system - and get the most out of it. Where as at United, he was stuck with the squad he was given and trying to polish a turd.
Honestly think with the way they play, could well be dark horses for the whole thing!
Done a cracking job.

Van Gaal was an exceptional club manager for Ajax and Bayern as well. He was basically the reason Bayern returned to superpower status again after being just solid in the 2000s.But we should be very cautious of using NT performances as a benchmark of how a manager would do here (remember van Gaal at the 2014 WC?)
Sure he is not Guardiola but at least that proves he is competent coach with some sort of actual idea how to play, and ability to implement it .Fair play to him. But we should be very cautious of using NT performances as a benchmark of how a manager would do here (remember van Gaal at the 2014 WC?). That said, it just proves a lot more than the manager and people above him are important when it comes to playing well and having success.
I think Rangnick is one of the managers who lost “these players” here. His press conferences were like one step away from exposing who was the last player in the team to catch an STD
Didn’t play it political enough. Same time, doubt we would have let him implement his philosophy to the fullest
Still shake my head every time I see some guys here ranting about his time here.
He had no backing whatsoever and took over a squad that had zero interest anymore, multiple toxic personalities and quite simply not enough quality.
Anyone would've done poorly here, as our record since SAF shows (even known winners like van Gaal and Mourinho "failed").
He has shown everywhere else that he knows a ton about football and that he can implement a modern, successful style of football if you let him do his thing.
International management suits him. Plenty of holiday time and an easy dream to sell. Not taking away from what he's actually good at, but I can't believe people pine for him. Nobody has taken the piss more than him in this post-SAF era.

Been brilliant to watch them so far, compared to the lethargic performances from the 'bigger' nations. One of Turkey/Czechs in last 16 so Quarters at least I reckon.
Playing fearless football.
As a result of Austria topping the group, England will avoid Spain, Germany, France and Portugal until a potential final if they win their group. Is Southgate bribing some folks! The draws he's had as England manager have been unbelievable.
