I quite like his reaction here. Dude's just lost his mum and is involved in a really high pressure ceremony, and they give him a tiny fecking table. If it was me I would've chucked the tray on the floor and demanded a servant pick it up.

In all seriousness the entire country needs an unbiased objective hammering of their own bloody history into their heads.
Said this earlier but the table he's using is fecking tiny, has two giant books on it and an ink pot off screen. Couple that with the fact that he had his own pen which he took out of his pocket, feck knows why a tray of other pens was even on the desk.
What I'm trying to say is that the aide should've done their fecking job and removed the tray when Charlie was clearly struggling for space for a good ten seconds before this clip started.
Edit: uncropped shot of the table. fecking state of it. We should pay more tax this year and buy them a bigger one.

I think it's interesting to say it's a country where we seem to lack any tradition when so much of what we do is based on traditions.
Would it be the worst thing in the world to do all of these? Force the big corporations to pay proper tax, abolish the house of Lords (and move the commons and mps to another city while we're at it) and also work towards abolishing the monarchy?

Very true but I guess they're technically still royalty? I'm talking about a country in modern times removing their monarchy entirely.
Also I'm not sure if this will be popular on here but what on earth is the point of having a royal family if they're just going to pretend to be normal people? I'd abolish the lot of them tomorrow but at least if you're going to take public money, provide a little bit of pomp and circumstance. Otherwise we're just paying tax to fund an already rich family pretending to be normal! What's the point of that?
Agreed, the hereditary peers also need to be sorted and access to green space in thr UK in general but that's for another thread I guess.
Leave them enough to start a corner takeaway and buy a terraced house and build from there.
