Queen Elizabeth II | 1926-2022 | Rest in Peace

It’s truly amazing how much she looked like her. And by that I mean it’s amazing that she didn’t look anything like her but kept getting cast as her double.
The first line in her Wikipedia article made me chuckle.

Jeannette Charles (15 October 1927 – 2 June 2024) was a British actress who was often chosen to portray Queen Elizabeth II because of her supposed physical resemblance to the monarch.

It's so people can remember her for what she did best, standing around doing feck all.

I’ll always remember the time she hung on long enough to accept Boris’s resignation and then promptly died to prevent Truss from doing as much damage to the country as she could have

I don't really see the point of statues of famous people. They always look a bit shit, especially those modern bronze ones.

Also do these morons not look at the sculpture's previous work at all?
