Still none of them sold more than 10% of the number of consoles sold. Tell me I'm wrong.4/10 of the top selling games on ps4 were exclusives one of them being 2nd to GTA 5.
Fifa made the top 10 once and was 8th.

None of that disproves what I said though. It pretty much agrees with it. If you want quality, single player next gen experiences and are happy to pay for them, you're better with a ps5.
Apparently a lot of people do want that, contrary to what you're claiming above, going by sales.

I'm hyped for Fable. We know that it's gonna look beautiful, the humour in the trailer look like it knew where it was coming from I just hope they nail the story and game play. One of my all time favourite franchises. Do not feck it up Playground.Right now? Sure. Over next 2.5 years? Not sure if that's true when looking ahead since the Bethesda purchase (maybe, but I think it can be argued either way). Lots still to be announced, but those that we know include Psychonauts 2, Halo Infinite, Perfect Dark, Fable, Redfall, Starfield, Avowed, Everwild, State of Decay 3, The Outer World's 2.
All are from devs or part of series that have shown to be able to offer a great story driven experience. Outside Fable and Playground, who have shown their creds in other areas. Coalition and Perfect Dark has a question mark of course but supposedly AAAA.
Sorry to correct your maths but 10% of 116.4 million would be 11.64 million. 4.16 million is nowhere near it.116.4 millions ps4's sold*
Uncharted 4 16 million ish copies.
You are wrong.

I'm actually hyped for all of them but especially Fable. I do think that Everwild might be stuck in development hell though. I don't think they even know what it should be.
Of course I am but only ever in this thread. I think it is the only thread on the site where you are expected to WUM.
Totally agree. The world needs to be rich and full of life. The quality of the cast will also be important. Fable has had some of the best comedians in England voicing their characters over the years.Yeah.. being able to build an amazing looking world is one thing, but it doesn't make you a good 'world builder'. It can be pretty shallow for a racer but Fable will need depth.
Fair point. Once you start taking it all too seriously you turn into this guy:Of course I am but only ever in this thread. I think it is the only thread on the site where you are expected to WUM.
These are the same guys that make out like all the PS5 exclusives are the best thing ever, despite there being millions of posts criticising them everywhere else. See GoT for the perfect example of a bang average game that looked pretty so they all wanked themselves in to oblivioun over it.

No it means coke is nicer to drink than the other cola alternatives.PlayStation will always sell well. It doesn't mean that it's the right choice for the person buying it. I think that on average less than 10% of people who brought a PlayStation 4 brought the exclusives. If that's true are the exclusives the real reason that people are buying them or that it's the console that their friends own and they want to play FIFA with them.
Xbox got arrogant last launch and it cost them a lot of good will but if people on a budget want loads of games to play games pass makes a PC or an Xbox the better deal, just loads of people don't realise that. Just saying that more people buy something doesn't make it better. There are 55 billion serving of Coke consumed every day. Does that mean that coke is good for you?
It really remains to be seen. I hope they deliver because as a pc gamer it would be good for me but from your list.. only really Outer World's 2 interests me, and obviously Starfield.. whatever the feck it actually is. The fact that all these games are cross platform means we are very unlikely to experience anything that feels truly next gen like Ratchet though which is my main point.Right now? Sure. Nope...I'm not far into Ratchet but I don't really see why it couldn't have been cross platform personally. And yes I'm including the portals in that.
afro...everyone is here because you and a couple others take it all so seriously. That's literally what's been happening from the start. It's time to get a grasp on reality.
I think he meant Gods of War rather than Game of Thrones. It's an easy typo but you know what he means.Fair point. Once you start taking it all too seriously you turn into this guy:

Never played Gods of War myself but it does look nice and is the type of game that I actually like to play. I've never watched a full playthrough either because it's the type of game that I might want to play one day. It's just and this isn't a wind up I don't like Sony's business model. Most multiplayer games would be available across all platforms if it wasn't for Sony.
Oh now you're just trolling.I'm not far into Ratchet but I don't really see why it couldn't have been cross platform personally. And yes I'm including the portals in that.

bitter fecker...Ghosts of Tshitma he meant
My bad, it's the start of my weekend and I've had a couple totally forgot that game. That does look like an Assassins Creed game and we all know how badly they are received unless it's a PlayStation exclusive.Ghosts of Tshitma he meant
bitter fecker...

They are all cross platform with PC, which is even worse than being cross platform with last gen.
I strongly disagree, most reviews and people who've played it disagree to and say it feels like a truly next gen experience because it takes advantage of the SSD, dual sense and console power. I think I'll take my experience and their word for it over the most biased Microsoft fanboy I've ever come across! I'm sure you'll get your next gen experience some day, when Microsoft realize you can't do them if they're on PC too.Oops. Genuine typo.
I'm not saying that graphical fidelity could have been achieved. It's obviously a stunning game. But mechanically I've not yet come across a gameplay segment that couldn't have been achieved on last gen, imo.
That shouldn't be a stick to beat it with either. I'm just saying I don't think it's a shining light of next gen only game other than that the resources and focus were put into making it look as good as it possibly could (at this stage in console life) on ps5.

I actually knew you'd say that as soon as I saw I had an alert. Embarrassing. Might go jump on a Ryanair flight now myself to experience true next gen!Flight Sim is more next gen mate. And you know it.
I didn't say it doesn't take advantage of the ps5 hardware. That doesn't mean the base game and experience couldn't be achieved on last gen though. And yes, it is no doubt majorly enhanced by being on ps5.

1. you haven’t played the game
2. The thread on the game on this forum has plenty of criticism of the games faults
3. It is still a wonderful game
It's a flight sim mate.Why?
Most reviews and people who've played say its a technical marvel and incredible the fidelity and scale being achieved on a console. I think I'll take my experiences and theirs over the biggest Sony fanboy I've ever come across!

Unlike you I'm not actually a fanboy. I even said today in this thread that the series X was the superior console. I think you'd rather shove a knife up your arse than praise the ps5.
I'd actually argue metro exodus enhanced edition is more next gen then both, if its sort of comparable to the pc version, i'm not however sure of the state of the console versions.
@Massive Spanner is saying that PC's are holding next gen back who do you really think is on the wind up? Ditch you haptic controller for mouse and keyboard and see how far you are really being held back. By the way Xbox supports mouse and keyboard.Prat.
Alock is definitely on a wind up.
