Every side sticks 10 men behind the ball all game and has one shot? Nah. This was a different sort of draw compared to the previous ones where we've finished poorly, they had no ambition whatsoever and some very good, organised defenders. Our game changers were all out, result is therefore no surprise.

This is why we need new attackers. Anyone saying we shouldn't sign Griezmann because it will hinder Martial or Rashford needs to be shot. Enough of these bottlers, bring in some quality.

Agreed!

Grim. As good as Rashford is going to be, he isn't ready to lead the line. We need someone with some nous up there. Crap performance against a team who came to defend and achieved their objective.

One of those days.

As for people calling for Mourinho to leave, just feck off you utter imbeciles. He's inherited a mess. He doesn't have a magic wand. He will get it right, I have no doubt. I genuinely cannot see another manager coming in and doing any better with the players we have right now.

Just another typical home performance from us today.

We were the better team. Didn't create that many chances, but we had two decent ones, and should have scored at least one of them.

Been the same all season, though. Whether we had Herrera, Pogba, Ibra, etc today, I get the feeling it would have been the same.

We really struggle to break teams down, who play with 11 men behind the ball, and have done for a while now.

Second half, our wingers, Martial especially, kept the width a bit more, and we started to look a bit more threatening, but for some reason we stop giving him the ball.

I guess a point is better than no points, but we can't expect top four if we're not beating sides like West Brom, Burnley, Stoke, etc, at home.

Johnny Evans never once had that good a game for us, not once.

Martial and Rashford weren't very good today. No excuses they should be doing better. They knew WBA would play park the bus and had all week to prepare. Really not good. Absolutely agree with you in that people should stop whinging about Ibra playing every game, or signing another forward. Mou, unfortunately, has been proven right in that Rashford and Martial cannot lead the line consistently.

I'm not even pissed off anymore, Europa is our best chance for CL next season and we should concentrate fully on that game.

On the game, our players lack composure. So much good work in the build up but the final touch is lacking, Story of our season.

Is that VG in a mourinho's mask? I haven't checked the stats but surely Mou is worse off than LVG right now, isn't it?

Shambolic all around. Fellaini on, subbing Rooney and leaving Blind and Tofu on the bench to inject pace into our zombie midfield

Hell, even Darmian would've offered more, ffs.

No excuses

We've spent more than anyone, and new managers have been infinitely more effective at City, Liverpool and Chelsea.

We can't blame injuries or the squad quality either. Only City arguably have a better squad.

We are consistently under performing and deserve to be where we are.

City? Effective? You must be having a laugh. Only team in the league worse at finishing than we are. And they have better attackers.

With a midfield of Carrick and Fellaini you can hardly blame them. There was no midfield at all. They can lead the line, they just need supply and support from teammates running up.

So lads are we replacing the entire playing staff or are we allowed to finally ask what the feck Mourinho is doing with this side?

Or is it Pulis and his tactics that every side who visits Old Trafford uses?

Or is it just bad luck?

Or is it the big bad ref?

Or is it that bastard goalkeeper with his super powers?

Sorry, just rattling off the excuses I've heard all season.
I blame the ref and the bastard keeper...

That was West Brom's first away clean sheet in 14 games.. I am done with this bunch of toothless, bottlejobs cnuts.

The ball was rolled across the face of the goal multiple times today. A RVN or Hernandez would have scored at least once today!

We need to bring in 2-3 attack minded players in the summer, even if it means benching Martial and Rashford.

Played with no calmness or experience today. Looked like a team who haven't played together which resulted in us abandoning our strengths and turning to the long ball.

Horrific.

Jesse Lingard was the only player I thought did alright today. The rest were utterly shocking. So much to hate about today's performance it'd take too long to write about it all.

Playing like this we've got a cat in Hell's chance of beating the likes of Lyon to win the Europa League. We're done.

Has it finally sunken in with you idiots that we're going no farther with this man in charge than the last two?

Anyone can spend 500 trillion pounds on players to finish 6th.

The manager isn't half as important as you're implying. Our issues are much bigger than 1 man.

Rooney for Mkh was puzzling, and as expected he offered nothing. Jose too afraid to even make all 3 subs, at least make them to try and add a spark to the team. Rashford and Martial's steps backwards are worrying.

Top 4 is gone!! What a load of bollox. Win our games in hand and we're level on points.

This was never going to be an easy transition, Jose has stopped us losing games like today, we're 19 unbeaten in the PL and just lacking the cutting edge up front, which I am sure he will sort in the summer.

Yeah, Blind with pace in the midfield and Fosu-Mensah who's not even a midfielder and vastly inexperienced to play against likes of Fletcher.

Awful to watch, but it's near impossible to play against a side who are set up for a point before a ball has even been kicked. Another home game where the ball was out of play or in the goalkeepers hands more than it was in play. West Brom just didn't want to play football. It was the same with Hull and Bournemouth.

I actually think we have a better chance of beating Everton midweek, because they will come and play, and we won't be just launching the ball against a wall of 9 defenders. We are better in open games than we are against teams who just want to frustrate and kill the clock.

You know it's a poor game when Fellaini is your best player. And it's no slight on him either. He did everything he was supposed to do and did it well, and he seemed to shut down almost every possible West Brom counter.

Our attack was disjointed and really lacked that killer instinct. A lot of fizzed balls across goal and we didn't have any attackers gambling on any of them. It was like we had no centre forward. After 90 minutes, I still don't know who was playing upfront. Rashford wasn't in positions a CF should be. Mkhitaryan was probably the closest, and I doubt he was actually our centre forward. It was 4 attacking midfielders.

I missed the whole game, looks like that was a good thing. I have been hoping we focus on the Europa League anyway.

Looking at the bigger picture, the post-fergie transition had gone worse than any of us could have anticipated.

The Glazers' debts fecked us in Fergie's last few years, then we appointed two horrendous managers who bought a load of crap.

Still feel it's too early to tell with Mourinho but fans will turn soon. If we serve up this kind of crap against Everton the discontent will start simmering in the stands.

Mhkitariyan and Rashford were very very poor. It was their responsibility to carve out space and opportunity which they failed to do, costing us 2 points. Martial was not much better.

I suggested we start with Rooney because I suspected none of these 3 had the experience to deliver what was necessary.

Carrick and Fellani did what was required and Lingard was our only bright performance.

Sqaud needs some significant upgrading as when we get hit with major injuries, we just dont have the guile to open up teams.

Only way into CL is via Europa Cup

I am not a fan of Lingard but he was very good today and our driving force. Really disappointed in Henrikh, Rashford and Martial. They clearly lack that win at all costs mentality. Just stayed cute all game long. If they had moved on one of those inviting crosses we we would have won.

We would continue to struggle against the teams who are happy to sit back till the time we get actual wingers and proper fullbacks .

In the summer upgrade both fullbacks and get atleast one winger even if that's all we buy.

Same shite, different day.

We cannot find a way to break down those teams who come to Old Trafford intent on parking the bus. I don't know where the problem lies, whether it be a tactical issue, a mental block with the players or it could simply be a case of them not being good enough, either way we have failed to beat inferior opposition on far to many occasions this season.

Not good enough.
