Post-match discussion

What's the fecking point of this thread? Bump the Hull one, or the Stoke one, or the fecking Burnley one.

The injuries are no excuse. We have a pathetic lack of ruthlessness this season regardless of personnel. Embarrassing.

Let's not go overboard, team was decimated from top to bottom, came to play anti-football and succeeded. They're where they are in the league for a reason.

Just another ordinary day at Old Trafford this season... We've seen this so many times
Oh, yes, did we really need two holding midfielders all 90 minutes?

I'd say it's grand and we'll win the Europa, but you need to score goals to win the Europa so I'm not too confident.

feck Pulis and his shitty 6-3-1 formation
Hate, hate, hate having to watch that shitty team, god help the supporters.

If matches were played on paper, we'd be champions if you listen to how highly some people rate our players. But in reality we're incredibly average. We have very very few genuinely great players.

Absolutely shocking. Have to put teams like these away, the lack of clinical strikers in our team is an absolute joke and needs to be addressed in the summer.

The egotistical one on borrowed time

We are no better than the Moyes & Van Gaal era.

4th is gone now, failure to win the Europa League would easily justify questions being asked if they are not already!

Carrick fellaini midfield was never going to be an exciting one was it? Rashford and the defence the main ones who impressed IMO but it still showed rashfords limitations and how he cant lead the line on his own yet.

Hopefully Rooney has played his last game for United.

He isn't the only average player we have though - there were about half a dozen out there today.

Another season in the Europa, lads. We're a mid table team these days. The new Liverpool.

I thought we would be toothless without Ibra and Pogba before the match, and we were.

West Brom are a well-organized Tony Pulis side. They came to get a point and they got what they came for.

I'm frustrated, but not shocked in the slightest

Fair play to WBA. Pulis came, played to his strengths and watched as we folded when asked to produce something else. Fletcher and Evans were great for them today.

Utterly foreseeable results given the players missing, the way we played and how they did too.

Mkhi and Carrick weren't great but the quality around them wasn't either.
Martial and Rashford had bright sparks but often lacked the final quality. The latter of which is not good enough to start for us yet.
Lingard worked his socks off in the first half but offered little in the second.
Rooney was Rooney.

Fail to win the EL and it's been equally as shit a season as the last one with LVG. Apart from being slightly more entertaining.

Don't want to hear "it's difficult" in the post-match interview...

Post international break, we're rubbish. Post Europa league game, we're rubbish.

We're literally better off just playing one match a week in the PL.

The players simply aren't good enough, we don't have the quality to challenge for the league, top four is pointless anyway.
Lingard did alright and that was literally it.
Mourinho is in it for the long haul before we challenge again, the squad is so dire.

Utter shiite.

The whole club is in a mess right now, we got no idea tactically and certainly do not have any decent players to win a game.

I give up....bye!

Same old.

Poor movement, poor finishing, slow passing and their keeper pulling off a couple of great saves.

Mou has some work to do in the summer.

Our offensive players need a kick up the back. Mkhitaryan, Martial and Rashford were all abysmal again, either they start performing or they should be replaced with someone who will.

Get rid of this team already.

The club needs to spend quite a lot of money this summer to remove this bunch.

Out with Fellaini, Rooney, Young, Carrick etc. Even Martial needs to start improving or be shown the door.

Its clear to see that we are still using the same underachieving team that has been around for the last 3 years. How do you expect results to change?

Maybe we might fluke the Europa league but this squad is toothless without Pogba and Ibra.

Every time, every fecking time we get within striking distance of the top four we feck up against a team we should beat. City win tomorrow and the gap is back to 7th. This current squad is a mess, we need a clear out this summer of epic fecking proportions.

Unbeaten in the league for a long time.
But without Ibra, scoring a goal has all our players, baffled.

Not even an over-rection but this team needs an overhaul. That was fecking West Brom, I ain't having any shit about managers and what not, we should be fecking dismantling West Brom, with the money we've spent, even if we had no fecking manager.

What were any of you expecting when you have Marouane Fellaini building up the play at the base of midfield with Michael fecking Carrick playing the box-to-box role?
