This is why we need new attackers. Anyone saying we shouldn't sign Griezmann because it will hinder Martial or Rashford needs to be shot. Enough of these bottlers, bring in some quality.

The team didn't disappoint me, I felt we'd struggle to do anything today and they met my expectations, with Ibra I feel we are too one dimensional but without him we are simply toothless with nobody capable of stepping up.

On the plus side I thought Bailly and Rojo swept up in one on one situations with compsure.

We must be the easiest team to play against at home. We have shit players, but the management is to blame too.

What's the definition of insanity again?

The game that killed the season for me. I've watched every minute of every game this season but I can't take any more.

All our remaining homes games at Old Trafford may as well be written off.

All eggs in the Europa League basket from here on in.

I'd imagine Mata/Pogba/Ibra have been involved with around 75% of our league goals this season. Missing all of them, against a Pulis side was always going to be a big ask.

But I don't honestly see what Jose is getting out of this squad. Our performances have been largely woeful in the attacking third all season, and we have a pretty talented team up front.

Maybe Jose is the answer in terms of ego, squad rejuvenation and image, but not as a coach?

Well no surprise there, breaking a pure defensive team with 2 holdings and in our case its Carrick Afroman combo...he could inject some energy with fresh young blood but they are not old enough yet, better get Rooney on and keep fecking 4-2-3-1 joke formation.

What the feck has happened to martial?

And Miki was equally shite. In fact apart from that brief spell over xmas miki hasn't been all that at all. He needs to improve

Anyway, there is something not right. We should not be struggling to beat these teams so often. I have to look at the manager again, they know what type of game it's going to be, but it was just constant cross after cross into a box against a defence who is very good at defending crosses

Oh José Mourinho knows how to get a squad going. fecking idiots. Have you even watch a game of Mourinho football? He's one the dullest most defensive minded manager in the world. His Chelsea team loved playing 1-0 games. Just go feck yourself. Get Koeman in right now.

And sleep Jose set us up to attack it is not his fault we have so many average players.

Mhkitariyan and Rashford were very very poor. It was their responsibility to carve out space and opportunity which they failed to do, costing us 2 points. Martial was not much better.

I suggested we start with Rooney because I suspected none of these 3 had the experience to deliver what was necessary.

Carrick and Fellani did what was required and Lingard was our only bright performance.

Sqaud needs some significant upgrading as when we get hit with major injuries, we just dont have the guile to open up teams.

Only way into CL is via Europa Cup

Has it finally sunken in with you idiots that we're going no farther with this man in charge than the last two?

Anyone can spend 500 trillion pounds on players to finish 6th.
I don't blame it completely on Mourinho. The main concern is the mind numbing reliance on Zlatan and then posters on here blaming him for our poor results. We are fecked without him. Top 4 is gone. EL is our only hope. I say it's time to put all our eggs in that basket.

So lads are we replacing the entire playing staff or are we allowed to finally ask what the feck Mourinho is doing with this side?

Or is it Pulis and his tactics that every side who visits Old Trafford uses?

Or is it just bad luck?

Or is it the big bad ref?

Or is it that bastard goalkeeper with his super powers?

Sorry, just rattling off the excuses I've heard all season.
So what do you think the real problem is?

Very disappointing again , but not very surprising.

We just don't have the creative quality to break down well organised defences.

Top 4 is still not completely out of the question but if we are honest we will admit that we are not a top 4 quality team , 6th or 7th is about our level with the players we have at the moment. And it is going to be hard to attract the top tier players in the summer when those players will have a choice of going to teams who can realistically challenge for the league in their countries or do well in the CL etc.

The game that killed the season for me. I've watched every minute of every game this season but I can't take any more.
That's the thing, we weren't terribly poor as in making mistakes at the back etc. We just didn't look like winning at all. That's not Man United. It's not like we were holding out against fecking Chelsea at the bridge.

No excuses

We've spent more than anyone, and new managers have been infinitely more effective at City, Liverpool and Chelsea.

We can't blame injuries or the squad quality either. Only City arguably have a better squad.

We are consistently under performing and deserve to be where we are.

Top four probably gone now... We've burned so many winnable games and we're going to have to win a lot of horrible games if we're going to get in there.

Europa is our last hope. If we don't win that it's been a crap season (people can point to the league cup but come on, when we were a top side we didn't give a feck about it).

People will blame the ref, the keeper's performance, the time wasting, the injuries, Jose, but it's abundantly clear the players aren't good enough.

And with the players it's always 'if such a person had headed it better, if such a pass was a few feet shorter, we'd be up there with Chelsea', as if they're suddenly going to stop doing that. What these 'nearly' instances prove to me is that the system isn't necessarily what's wrong, it's the player's technique.

My only small concern about Jose is that his current seemingly inward demeanour transfers to the players a bit.

I'm not even angry. I knew we would draw. This team has a mental block in front of goal when the pressure is on us to score.
Against a team as resolute as WBA, it was inevitable. I only watched 5 mins of the first half cause of dodgy streams but I don't need anyone telling me how the match went.

After that tactical masterclass earlier today you want to send for Koeman?

It's death by draws at this stage. We now have the most drawn games in the league, which is disgraceful. Struggling to break down a team who just sit and defend and failing to take our chances, story of the season for us.

Terrible all round, no desire or tempo to get the result. West Brom were content to let us come and we showed very little. Toothless performance, it's the El or bust now in my opinion. The fans were poor again, felt like a pre season game. We need to get some energy back soon or it will be Thursday nights again next year. No scapegoats, all the team were poor. People shouldn't be surprised at foster saving long range efforts, it's what he does. We were unable to break them down and delivery out wide was crap.

Should've pushed Fellaini up front and rooney down in midfield later on in the game.. Very boring game

Let's not go overboard, team was decimated from top to bottom, came to play anti-football and succeeded. They're where they are in the league for a reason.
8 Draws in 15 home games in the prem. Was the team decimated for all 8 games?

Our timing is horrible. We really don't take any opportunities, both on the pitch and off them.

A weekend that saw the Merseyside Derby, which means either the team in front of us or behind us will drop points

Arsenal vs City tomorrow, meaning more rivals will drop points

With the added bonus of Chelsea losing.. We only managed to get 1 point.

Its infuriating.

This all day long, I can't stand the "oh but it will hinder rashford" tough shit he isn't good enough to lead the line for a club that has top 4 ambitions.

Martial lingard rashford all in the same line up will draw blanks every time because they play as individuals and don't see the bigger picture.

We don't need mbappe or any other project we need solid performers now

Looking forward to the long drive up on Tuesday.

Honest!

This must be the most underwhelming long unbeaten spell in Premier league history!

That was just about the hardest MOTM vote of the season. I wish it was for a better reason.

Rooney was a shadow of his former self. Fellaini reverted to form - and should be shown the door this summer. Seems we need to push all our chips in on the Europa League now. Disappointing.

Full disclosure: I only watched about 10 minutes in the first half before my stream died. That being said, it's clear we just need an injection of top-drawer attacking quality (contender for most obvious point in a post, I know.) No more worrying about balance and 'if we bring in player x, then what happens to player y...' feck it, go for Griezeman and Mbappe, money be damned.

Frustrating. Foster had a hell of a game

Says it all if our bunch of fools are not even able to beat an average keeper - and some on here are actually wanting to play CL next season with this team..

We are shit and have been since three years. Nothing has changed this season and after playing the 'big boys' in the upcoming years everyone will realise that we haven't made any progress this season. Just imagine where we would be without Zlatans goals...

In fairness, I knew at the start that West Brom would just sit back and make life difficult. But we should have at least got one goal.

Badly need a player who can score from nothing.
