No it's not. Kone is only just recently starting to look comfortable in the youth teams. At some point we may be forced and these kids may surprise us, but anyone assuming they have looked like better options than the ones on the pitch is sorely mistaken.

The kids were on the bench to fill numbers and as no one got injured to force the manager's hand, they stayed there as expected
Gutless.

100% disagree about moving on. It's a flaw in his game but he's still far and away our most gifted technical player, one of the best chance creators in the Premier League, and somehow runs constantly for 90 minutes no matter how many games he plays and never gets injured. It's one thing to think he has parts of his games that are frustrating, quite another to think we'd be better without him. Especially THIS team.
As we need a full rebuild, there is no need to build it around an aging Bruno. He’s been part of the worst team I’ve seen at this club putting in mostly poor performances in the last couple of years.

Flat-footed, caught on their heels, snatching at chances (garnacho), rushing everything (bruno), zero composure (that last 10 minutes was disgraceful! BRUNO!!). There is just a general and very serious lack of football intelligence. You are playing with wingbacks and one in particular willing runner in Dorgu, F***ing, use him!! Even if your main MO is to cut in and shoot (garnacho), use the wingback once or twice to keep the defender guessing. Why is garnacho so bloody braindead?!

We are very lucky Southampton, Leicester, Ipswich and Wolves are having a really terrible season. I can't see us beating Everton away and a loss to Ipswich the following Wednesday will have me truly worried.

It's hard to see where the goals are coming from, especially with Amad now out. Hojlund needs to be sold ASAP, he adds nothing to the team, why Obi wasn't given a proper chance baffles me. Casemiro staying on when his legs were clearly gone and he was on a yellow is another weird one.

Another "six-pointer" lost. Terrible performance by some players especially our captain. Serious questions needs to be asked about Amorim also.
We are currently in relegation battle.

I can accept losing if we go down swinging. If the manager used every tool available and every trick up his sleeve. Sometimes you get beaten even when playing well.

Today we did not play well. And the manager just watched it unfold like a 90 minute train wreck. We took no risks and lost anyway, timidly, like a bunch of scared rabbits.

We didn’t even get the joy of our “fetch that, cnut” (@T00lsh3d ) hopeful punts into channels. Slow, inaccurate, poor decisions, terrible finishing, rookie mistakes, manager refusing to influence the game.

Wow. Proper shit.

Onana - 6, should have done better with the goal, but saved everything else
Mazraoui - 6, solid
Maguire - 6, solid
De Ligt - 6, solid
Dorgu - 6, decent
Dalot - 5, usual crapness
Casemiro - 3, shocking player now
Bruno - 3, gave the ball away every time
Garnacho - 5, should have done better with the chances he got
Zirkzee - 5, some nice control in tight places but makes frustrating choices at the times that matter
Hojlund - 3, lost nearly every duel
Hojlund not just lost every duel, but either fouls the players or get caught offside when the ball is passed upfront. His positioning is also terrible. Never there to receive a cross.

Really? He lost the ball nearly every time he tried to pass it.

He was awful, playing in a 2 man midfield and decided to have no positional awareness at all, still trying to close down the keeper??? and tried his luck out wide on the right in the second half.

Oh? Which of his crap crosses/long balls did you like?
I thought he was the only one who knew how to thread a proper pass through to the strikers. They were just dross. I agree he's never going to be a 2 man midfield player, but that's hardly his fault.

There were loads of balls he player where our dunce players were on their heels or offside. Even Zirkzee for all his great hold up play, twisting and turning, held onto the ball for too long when passes were on.

Onana probably 6 too high mate.

Absolutely shocking keeper, can't save a shot without parrying to an opposition player. Throws our players into trouble.

Needs to be moved on sharpish and Bayinder given a chance.

I'm not sure if it's because you haven't watched other teams, but his creative passer were crap.

Spot on with Dorgu mate. Thought he put in a shift but for some reason others didn't read into his runs

Two poor teams on display today. Draw would have been a fair result but, as it was in 1974, we just can't score. I don't know what Ruben was thinking during the last quarter of the game but he had nothing to lose by putting on one or two subs. They would have been an unknown quantity to Spurs and might have salvaged a point. Instead, he kept on hoping that Rasmus would finally turn into a centre-forward and hit the net. We might fall even further down the table but thank goodness Ipswich, Southampton, and Leicester don't look like escaping.

Yes, and apparently we are going to get a lot of better players for no money while selling our castoffs for a king’s ransom.

Yeah and I'm sure there's a load of World Class players willing to a club that won't even be in Europe next season, their clubs will let them go for modest fees and they won't even want big wages to help us out with PSR.

It’s another game where we could’ve won but we don’t because of shocking finishing and defensive boo boos. That won’t change until we get rid of the morons. I’m starting to think the Goalie should be first out the door.

Obviously not getting relegated this season but next season is a possibility as things just seen to get worse and worse

You can see why the club might have sold Garnacho. He has some talent of course but until he improves his finishing and almost as importantly his chance creation & decision making then he isn’t a PL level winger. Dan James was no worse really.

We created enough changes to win today but we've put too much pressure on kids! We need experience in that front line.
Yea i agree. Should certainly have got a draw with the chances we had. We need a top top striker.

Think it has been lower than that for a while. Some really bad sides promoted.
35pts has been good enough in the last 6 seasons.
We need 6pts from 13 games.

However, if we lose to Everton next weekend (very likely) and Ipswich beat Spurs (very possible) at home then the gap will be 9pts.

Next game after them? Ipswich at home.
