I just can’t see where we are going to get 10 or 11 points for rest of season, pretty certain we won’t get above 3-4 points from home games, because teams going to OT know they just have stick 11 men behind the ball and hit on the break. Away from home we might get 6-7 points. It’s going to be close, going to the wire whether we sty up or not,

So frustrating yet again. Despite playing relatively well for our current standards tonight at the moment we remain a really bad side.

We created plenty of chances a couple clear chances but the usual shocking finishing. Garnacho the worst culprit.
We had zero control in midfield. Casamiro is just to slow to cover the ground but is still decent in possession.
Weird to wait until 90 seconds to go to bring chido on.
Zirkzee can play a bit.
Relegation fight is on. We are 15th now and below Everton and Palace.

Casemiro had one of the worst individual performances today I think I’ve ever seen from a Utd player and he lasts the 90 coming off with injury time left.
Please someone tell me that kone isn’t that shit.
Cowardly from Amorim today. Loss is entirely on him.

How? What could he actually change with the players he had available?

If he'd thrown kids on and they got spanked you'd be moaning he shouldn't have put the kids in that position.

We weren't getting battered and were still creating chances to the end with the players on the pitch.

I swear some of you think we had yamal, Messi, Rodri, and Haaland on our bench today.

Bruno, Casemiro, Garnacho all shocking. Zirkzee very good today in the 10 position.
Should have got a draw but as usual we can't finish

Same shit, different day! Our players inability to play football, yes that very thing they are known as professionals for, is the biggest hindrance to the team. Fans got so invested in formations and tactics but that's a pipe dream for when we are going for something. I simply want our team to play football, but it's not going to happen with these lot, they are so far behind other PL teams.

Sack the manager and get someone else in? You really think anyone else can get these lot to play football? Never happening.

We can't score. Neither of our strikers was ready to be the main man when we signed them, but we signed them and played them as the main man.

Unsurprisingly, instead of learning on the job, we have destoryed their confidence and for hojlund at least, likely destoryed his career before it got started.

The only team I think will have worse form than us from now to the end of the season is Ipswich. Everyone else below us is finding ways to win games.

Are ineos still expecting the fans to pay extra for this shit?

Players were dreadful, terrible decision making, can’t finish, keeper made an error. Questions over tactics hit when players can’t make very basic decision correctly that’s on them.

If your tactics strip the players of passing opportunities, attacking outlets, gives them no midfield options, no real attacking options and no defensivel solidity then I expect average players whose confidence are low to perform even worse. The manager has someone lowered the bar even further than it already was. The club is in 15th more than halfway through the season. The manager is in charge and has made things worse.

There really isn't anything to say is there. No manager can fix this, no player can fix this.

Literally the only fis is bin over 3/4 of the squad and sign 8-12 players while also praying all of them are good.

But that will take us 4-5 windows and inevitably half the players we sign will be worse than the ones we have.

And since we don't have the money or ambition to do it all in one summer then it will never work.

Pretty much only fix is buy an almost entire new squad in the summer

Midfield set up to give Tottenham so much space.

No subs until 90th minute.

Clueless

I'm very much convinced that Amorim isn't the right guy and should be sacked (I suspect we just can't afford to with PSR) but these are two things I wouldn't hold against him:

The midfield two he picked was pretty much his only option given the Mainoo, Ugarte, Collyer and Eriksen all got ruled out in a week. Fernandes-Casemiro was always going to struggle against an Ange team but they are literally the only two fit midfielders in the squad that have ever played a Premier League minute of football.

And keeping your first eleven on through the 90 when your bench looks like that is reasonable. You're essentially balancing fatigue of the starters against the inexperience of the replacements and deciding you have more of a chance with the fatigued first teamers. Fair enough.

Manchester United in 15th position. And we thought 8th last season was bad enough.
We were lucky to finish 8th last year. The season was a write off allowing eth to stay as manager and now we are in the shit because of it.

The longer this run of losing goes on the more likely it is someone near the bottom will put on a run and overtake us. We are a conglomeration of footballers who are not very good and have no idea what they should be doing. Amorim doesn’t appear to have any plan and just carries on whatever the situation and then makes a sub with 3 mins to go??? Chino Obi never got near the ball. Another dream smashed.

Manchester United in 15th position. And we thought 8th last season was bad enough.

Yet we kept hold of the fecking Manager, gave him 200m to spend despite the optics saying that we were incredibly fortunate to finish top half.

Unfortunately, what we're seeing now is several years of really bad decisions finally catching up.

One of the worst matches I've ever seen United play. The last 10 minutes were honestly laughable.

Bruno is way too loose in possession. He is obviously capable of some great moments but every 3 passes is so sloppy.

Hojlund so poor as well.

Zirkzee did ok.

Dalot was crap.

Dorgu looks decent but obviously still acclimatizing.

We missed Ugarte because we couldn't get the ball back off them for large periods.

Overall very poor again.

3 best United players today:

1) Zirkzee
2) Dorgu
3) De Ligt

3 worst United players today:
1) Casemiro
2) Bruno
3) Onana

We were better than Spurs, really poor finishing (especially garnacho) cost us.
I know the bench was just the U18's but they should have come on, that 11 out there were never going to score.

How much is that Dorgu in the window?

Gandalf to Garnacho: You shall not pass.

Gandalf to Bruno: You shall not pass to the red shirts.

First time I am upset with Amorim's substitution, or lack of.

Hojlund and Casemiro should have been subbed early. You can clearly see they are contributing close to nothing in the game. Casemiro in particular, gives the ball away too easily, which has become his trademark. I wonder if paying him actually adds a 12th man to the opposition even.

I know the youngsters probably is just a gamble, but you know you get nothing having Hojlund and Casemiro on the pitch.

They have scored 49 goals in the league and we have scored 28. It is hardly a shocking result

We aren't going down, but at the same time our number one priority now above all else is to make absolutely sure that we aren't going down.

On the one hand, it would have been good to get a bunch of the kids on for the final 15 or so minutes.

On the other, we were playing relatively well and looking dangerous for most of the second half, so I can understand Amorim thinking that the players on the pitch were more likely to get us a goal than a bunch of kids who don't have a minute of senior football between them. In saying that I still think taking off one of our central defenders and bringing on either a midfielder or Obi would have given us a better chance as we entered the final 15 minutes.

Garnacho is a talent, but his decision making is awful which leads to him being so inconsistent with him failing most of his attempts at doing something.

Zirkzee is technically brilliant, but he hasn’t been able to adapt to the pace of the PL.

Højlund has got physical and technical attributed, but lacks the movement and understanding that is required against PL defenders.

Maybe in five years these players will be at sufficient level, but in that time they and the manager are probably gone.

BRUNO had a mare he is so a problem, Zirkzee and Dorgu done alright.
Depth of midfield telling. Ganacho doesn't do it when he starts looks like an impact player at bedtime for this squad.
The end of the season cannot come quick enough
