I love Bruno, he's our best player by a mile IMO but out of possession in an end to end game he struggles. Out of possession in an end to end game next to Casemiro in a two man midfield is going to magnify that struggle threefold.

Rubbish with the ball. Yes Hojlund and Zirkzee looked slightly more lively than some other performances, but their success rate was still very low.

Garnacho and the occasional Bruno pass were our only threats and Garnacho missed his big chance when he should have scored. Did okay with the others and generally tried. In the 84th minute he tracked back to head off a counter attack from Tel in our box where the leftback should be. Cant accuse him of not trying, although he was blind to the pass to Dorgu at left wingback all game, as were our other attacking players

Our forwards can’t score. Everything else is kind of pointless till they can.

In the first half, Dalot played a great ball across the face, one that you KNOW an RVP would anticipate, open his body, and score an easy goal (as he did from low Valencia crosses). Hojlund didn’t anticipate or react.

In the second half, JZ who had a decent game was just standing offside for what felt like an age as Garnacho took that shot to the near post. The ball rebounds and Zirkzee has to move out of the way because he is offside.

I am not going to go through every example, but we’re really really really being let down by the finishing or that final pass.

Our attack is the worst I've ever seen. We can't make simple passes and shots. Amad plays and we win that comfortably. That's how bad our attack is that one player is missing and it all goes to shit. I'm too tired to type out the myriad problems all over the pitch starting with our overall athleticism but that's beating a dead horse now. I'm dreading the rest of the season and just hope we can end the season avoiding relegation.

Zirkzee was good. Everyone else was shit. I'm completely done with Amorim. He's been the worst manager we've had in the PL to this point and there's no signs of anything moving in a positive direction. Not giving any of the youth a chance even when underperforming is unforgivable. Just leaving the game to peeter out to a 0-1 loss. Utterly spineless. INEOS and Glazers a bunch of idiots that left us in this situation too.
