Post-match discussion

Let me guess, a bunch of sitters missed, a really soft goal, then a bunch more sitters missed.

This is what happens when you've got a nothing goalkeeper and forwards who couldn't score if their lives depended on it.

Could’ve scored quite a few but our decision making from front to back is embarassing. Zirkzee the only one resembling a footballer and he wasn’t amazing.

Can we feck off the goalie now.

Relegation is a real possibility now. We cant win against sides who have been struggling. Not sure from where we will get 12 points to go above 40

Conceding one away to Spurs is not the problem. Our complete inability to score goals is. Is that two goals in the last four PL games? Dreadful.

There were plenty of chances to be created but the decision making and finishing up front is fecking awful.

Oh, and we have no midfield.

Biggest positive from today: We are one game closer to the off-season.

Deserved a draw. Garnacho should have scored and Bruno turned the ball over way too many times. Amorim needs to wise up with his midfield selections - they're atrocious.

Most limp dicked game I’ve seen since at least last week. We’re proper shit.

Knew Maddison would score the winner after Keano slagged him off.

Wasn't our worst performance, thought we played well for the most part tbh, our finishing is still dog shit.

And of course they get their first choice keeper back for the game against us.

I thought we looked improved compared to previous games there tbh. Expected a way worse performance from having barely any fit players.

Been saying it for a long time, but we simply don't have any good forwards. We're so easy to play against as teams know we're toothless and can't hurt them.

The only positives for me were Zirkzee and Dorgu.
Maguire looked dead, turning circle of a lorry.

We were better second half but still deservedly lost to a very poor Spurs team. The next two games against Everton and Ipswich are huge. Lose them both and we're 100% in a relegation fight til the end of the season.

It does seem like a few more people are getting on the "sack Amorim now" train which from my perspective is a good thing.

So many average players with poor decision making.

Mazaroui Dorgu and Zirkee the only outfield players to come out with any credit.

Absolutely shambolic from dalot Bruno hojlund and casemiro.

I'm a big maguire fan but he looks like.he can't even move anymore.

Deserved more, but our attackers are the worst at what they are supposed to do, scoring goals.

Oh and Amorim should've waited to make the sub right before the ref blew his whistle, would've been better... ffs.

Looking at United wage bill, we should be able to field a better team than all the leagues outside top 5 combined. Does anyone think pound for pound we can beat Brazilian or Dutch league 11?

Nothing surprising about losing today. Never looked like getting anything even when we had decent passages of play.

We could have been there until next Christmas and we were not scoring a goal.

The last 5 minutes summed everything up , no composure , misplaced passes everywhere , no urgency. A team of donkeys.

Very concerned about Hojlund. Coaches have to get hold of him and a plan needs to be formed among the attacking players. They all still play like total strangers.

Relegation is a real possibility now. We cant win against sides who have been struggling. Not sure from where we will get 12 points to go above 40
We're 12 points clear of a team who have accumulated 17 points all season. We are not in a relegation battle.

Bruno with a shocker. This is the level of care our captain shows on the ball. How would we ever control a game with him playing in any position let alone the most important one?

There is an obvious answer as to why Amorim didn't bring on any subs, but feck me.....would rather watch a few of the youngsters get a decent chance than watch that shit show of a performance.

Stuck in the mud, poor goal conceded and big chances wasted same old story.

Losing to that shower of shite three times in one season highlights how poor United truly are.

I'm not angry, just disappointed.

That last 5 minutes or so was hilariously bad, every time we tried to "break" we just gave it straight back to them.

Rubbish with the ball. Yes Hojlund and Zirkzee looked slightly more lively than some other performances, but their success rate was still very low.

Garnacho and the occasional Bruno pass were our only threats and Garnacho missed his big chance when he should have scored. Did okay with the others and generally tried. In the 84th minute he tracked back to head off a counter attack from Tel in our box where the leftback should be. Cant accuse him of not trying, although he was blind to the pass to Dorgu at left wingback all game, as were our other attacking players

Dorgu did what he could. Difficult to expect more from a young player that has been in the club for 2 weeks.

Zirkzee MoM second half. Only player trying to get us forward.

Poor today. The game went exactly as I thought it would before the match.

What a frustrating watch that was. How the fecking feck do we not manage to score in that? I don't think ETH was a bad coach per se, but holy shit did he buy some duds.

Bad result finishes what has been a bad weekend for the club. The performance wasn’t as bad as other games but we squandered every chance we got and should have drawn the game. What about those subs though? I know that it’s the U21s on the bench but we needed to get extra legs on and he puts Chido Obi on with 3min to go - shocking stuff from the manager.

It’s another defeat in the premier league and we are slipping down the table again. I’m not confident about the Everton game on Saturday and we desperately need a win.
