fecking left the ground at 80 mins to beat the traffic!
I sat through all and every minute of 6-1 home defeat to City and still don't understand why I did that. One should never leave any United game early with a 1 goal margin, feck the traffic.

Oh please. What nonsense. What "pressure" is he under? He's just plain bad and more focused on his off-field brand than being an actual footballer. FA to do with any "pressure."
Only problem is his attitude. Thats it

- Thought all the centrebacks were decent. Martinez the pick of the bunch. Don't know why De Ligt gets such ridicule in the media as I think he's largely been fine?

- Ugarte was ok. Feel like he'd be better if the rest of our forwards/midfield actually did their jobs.

- Amad...he was great anyway but the winning goal was genuinely world class stuff. He makes it look easy but how many players in the 90th minute of a manchester derby make that run and have the audacity to flick the ball over the keeper's head with their first touch? I think most players it just runs through to the keeper.

- Mazrouri decent as usual.

- Game was a load of shite but we did do the defensive/organisation part pretty well. Just far too passive on the ball apart from when Amad had it.

- Going to start a government petition for a "mute Gary Neville" option to be a legal requirement for all televised sport events.

- Kyle Walker what an embarrassing human being

- City kind of need to sack Pep, except they can't because he's won most of the trophies in their history, except they only won them by cheating so they probsbly should just sack him. Except they can't because no manager with a brain will take over a team that might get a 100 point deduction in a few months time. Funny
I genuinely laughed at that last paragraph. So good. Well done. I’m gonna reuse it, with your permission.

massive step forward today. To be able to go to the etihad and control the game. Something we’ve not seen for years. Great performance and great mentality to come back. We’re actually harder to play against now and the only goals we concede are either defensive errors or set pieces.

We actually played well especially 2nd half, not a top tier performance but it was a good performance overall and we deserved the win
Its one of those perfomances if Brunos chance goes in and we get the other pen we should have got. Everyone says wow what a performance and we battered them.

From a game perspective im so encouraged by Ruben. We have now gone Emirates and Etihad and had fair share of the ball and stopped the opposition sustaining attacks on us.

The butterfly effect. that you left at 80 minutes contributed to us getting the two goals. If you had stayed it might have been different.

Amorim alluded to the way they were acting on and off the pitch, how they were training etc. He didn't really go into specifics and spoke more generally about standards that everyone had to meet.

Post-match, he refused to be drawn into specific criticism and said every week was a clean slate so once they trained well etc they'd be contention for the squad like everyone else.
And that is perfect messaging from Amorim because who wouldn’t want both back at the best they can be. The match day squads after applying themselves as they should during the week.

Yep! Basketball is over, much harder to play through.

What on earth must Kyle Walker's kids be thinking? Apart from "where's daddy tonight?", I mean.

Yeah. Micah’s point is nonsense. “They were serial winners”, Exactly! They had pressure week in, week out. United have been a shambles for years. All Rashford has had to do is put in effort and look like he cares. At this point, people aren’t expecting 25 goal seasons and being a match winner from Rashford, because the problems are bigger than any one player.

If Rashford showed up week in, week out, gave his all and left it all on the pitch, he’d be loved because he’d be a local lad, academy product who is giving it all at a time when the club are struggling. Instead he’s the academy product, on enormous wages who more often than not looks like he couldn’t give a shit.

Absolute nonsense from Micah Richard’s in that clip.

Wild take here, but perhaps contribute to winning in some capacity?
Not disputing that. Just don't see the issue with him making a comment publicly supporting his teammates after a win over our rivals. Presumably he's been dropped to provoke him into a response. I'd rather he was up for that challenge and not sulking.

He could've gone to the stadium I suppose. Still a weird thing to moan about

It was contradictory rubbish, don’t even think he believed it. Just trying to make TV.

Credit to Amorim.

Managed to not panic and got subs right. We played really well tonight and I think deserved the points.

Refused to get myself too huped up after EtH but Amorim has impressed me so far.

Keep it up!
Still think we should sack him and hire Gary O'Neil?

Around the 55 minute mark I think we saw Amorim ball at its best. We cycled, probed, brought it back, cycled again, probed again, brought it back and this continued for at least a minute. Then it ended with a decent chance. I want more of that.

- Amad brilliant. He has the makings of a special player. Quick and has speed, great touch, good moves, and very good football IQ.
- Maz excellent vs Doku
- Bruno mostly good
- Maguire and Martinez excellent
- Ugarte very good and composed

I still feel Mainoo is just very conservative right now. Seems a little unsure of himself, but got better in the 2nd half.

Your move, Rashford.

Ratings are so funny  Mount avg 5.0 for getting himself injured after 10minutes.

Great result. Performance alright, but nothing more. Should have been a dull 0:0 seeing neither us nor City not being able to create anything of note. First we gift them the lead, then they gift two goals back. Awesome result for confidence
Cheer up, lad!

Gary Neville is so endlessly glum. He's opining on US TV and it's like listening to paint dry. Someone should remind him that soccer (football) is what people do for fun.

Sure, we were a bit too cautious with the ball, but kept it well, and attacked when matter in the end.
I believe that this will gradually get better as the players get more confidence that the new system is working and that if they make a mistake there is cover behind them.

The bolded is music to my ears, Amorim is making this team able to control a match, even when we lost against Forest, we still dominated possession, Forest won because of brainfarts and errors

Probably not even in his top ten worst posts. Not even sure a United fan

Another manager too easily read by his opponents. Third game in succession we've conceded from a corner.

As for the players, well, we've had a decent fifteen or so minutes, that's them for another week.

One nil down in the first half and it reasonably feels like Game Over.

With relegation threatened sides shipping points we're now entering drop talk.

Utter garbage.

Fair enough, I do not disagree with you. But it’s frustrating to see him supporting his teammates, very much like how we are supporting the club while the difference is he is being paid a fortune by the club to play and presumably lead us to trophies etc. He is in a position to do a lot more than support and he consistently squanders it.

I may be overly critical here, but I accept that criticism if that is the case.
