Post-match discussion

Complete domination, it's soooooo nice having the old United back.

Fantastic perfromances and we are pretty much top 4 guaranteed now, onto chelsea next week.

Wow that was outstanding pissed all over them thats the dippers and the bitters we've beat convincingly in the last few weeks .Shame there wasn't another 10-15 games left.

This turn around, in hardest matches came at perfect time, and its not just flukey wins, its scoring more than 3 goals, and playing excellent football, and dominating possesion

Crazy how LVG has turned this around

Thought I'd have a look on Blue Moon "We are currently experiencing a spike in traffic. Access is temporarily restricted to register users."

It's always the traffic isn't it? Empty seats? Traffic in Manchester. Blueshit down? Traffic made by 20 people that shuts down the whole site.

not sure it's crazy. The guy is a top manager. This is his swansong before he retires. He has an ego as big as Fergie and Cantona, no way does he want to go out with a whimper. He's a winner....

Great watching Ronny Johnsen as a pundit today. He appears as a die hard United fan and giggles like it was his first time at Old Trafford. Terrific :D

Great comeback despite playing with 10 men (again) - Yeah Rooney. At least he got a bit better in the last few mins.
Young was briliant. Now THAT is what an attacker at United should do, contribute to our attack, hope he keeps it on more or less. Oh and Mata and Herrera beautiful again, and Fellaini very good!
LvG: top marks

Funny to hear van Gaal say that the Carrick situation in the last 10 minutes was ¨a bit stupid by him¨. Gotta love his honesty.

What's more crazy is that pundits are seriously asking if it was all a fluke brought about by RvP's enforced exclusion due to injury :boring:

Get in!!! I'm so aroused

I'm yet to see or meet a city fan here in India.
Only seen one on my facebook. Once had a argument with him how United bought their titles (lol). Only ever saw one more City related update from him after that during the 12/13 season about how it will be the greatest title chase by City(lol)

Young and Fellaini battling it out for the MOTM award against City at Old Trafford - Who would have thought eh?

Fair play to the pair, they deserve every bit of praise and Young deserves a call-up from Roy with his recently found form.

I feel for the person interviewing LVG after the game. He must have so much spit on his face by the time he is done.

I'm cautiously confident we're top 4 safe now. This is a turning point today. Now confident we'll keep Dave and also drop 200m in the summer

From BBC:
Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal: "It's three points! We are four points ahead of fourth in the table and I am very happy for the fans. I have seen what it means for them. They always support us when the results were not good.

"It's the best atmosphere I have seen here. A fantastic result. I must bring Michael Carrick off the pitch with an injury which was a bit stupid from me as some players didn't know we only had 10 men. That was not so smart!

"We started very badly. It was not Manchester United, we were very nervous. I don't know why. We had no pressure on the ball. I don't know why. But when we scored the goal, from that moment we had more confidence.

"The second half was much better."

Other than the opening 10 minutes we dominated. We're unlucky not to have scored more but I dont care so happy right now!

Is being stupid a pre requisite to be a city fan?!

Is that for real? He sounds dazed from the OT atmosphere and not quite his assured self, what with the "a bit stupid from me" and "I don't know why."s. Guess the boss has joined us in Lala-land too with this result.

If there was any lingering doubt after recent results, the team showed they have character today after going behind early.

Not surprising to see Niall 'dickhead' Quinn wheeling out FFP as a post match excuse. well done you complete bell end, have some decking grace in defeat.
